A resin molded rotor includes a rotor, a main shaft, and a resin mold. The rotor is configured to hold a magnet. The main shaft is provided with the rotor mounted thereto and is configured to transmit power to the outside. The resin mold is configured to integrally cover the rotor and part of the main shaft on respective sides in an axial direction of the rotor. An O-ring is placed between the resin mold and the main shaft to seal between the resin mold and the main shaft.

The present invention relates to a dry vacuum pump unit capable of achieving ultimate pressure of about 1 Pa. The vacuum pump unit includes a main pump () disposed at an outside-pressure side, and a booster pump () disposed at a vacuum side. The booster pump () and the main pump () are coupled in series. The booster pump () has a higher pumping speed than that of the main pump (). Each of the main pump () and the booster pump () includes a pair of pump rotors (and), a casing () having an inlet port and an outlet port, and a pair of magnet rotors (and) rotatable with the pair of pump rotors.

A screw pump includes a pair of screw rotors () having teeth which are held in mesh with each other for drawing and discharging a fluid by rotating the screw rotors () synchronously in opposite directions. The teeth of the screw rotors () have the same shape as each other and are coiled helically in opposite directions. The teeth of the screw rotors () have an axial tooth profile which allows a pair of facing teeth surfaces T of the screw rotors () to be brought into contact with each other only at a pitch line P when the pair of facing teeth surfaces T are brought into contact with each other.

Screw pump and method of operating the same

A vacuum pump has a casing having an inlet port and an outlet port, and a pair of confronting pump rotors which are provided inside the casing and synchronously rotatable for drawing in a gas from the inlet port and discharging the gas from the outlet port. A motor for rotating the confronting pump rotors is a permanent magnet motor having a stator and a motor rotor. The motor rotor has an iron core and permanent magnets disposed within the iron core.

A multishaft electric motor has a plurality of juxtaposed rotors having respective permanent magnets disposed therearound, and a plurality of sets of armature elements disposed fully circumferentially around the rotors, respectively, the permanent magnets of adjacent two of the rotors having a plurality of pairs of unlike magnetic poles for magnetically coupling the rotors through the armature elements between the permanent magnets. A positive-displacement vacuum pump includes a casing, a pair of pump rotors rotatably disposed in the casing in confronting relation to each other, and a two-shaft electric motor coupled to the pump rotors for rotating the pump rotors in opposite directions. The two-shaft electric motor may comprise a pair of juxtaposed rotors and a pair of sets of armature elements disposed fully circumferentially around the rotors, respectively.

A light weight and compact canned motor having a high cooling efficiency while maintaining its mechanical properties has been developed. The canned motor has a connection end connected to a driven equipment and a free end and comprises a rotor shaft protruding from the connection end; a cylindrical thin-walled can member defining a rotor chamber for housing the rotor shaft and a rotor; a cylindrical thin-walled frame body defining a stator chamber outside of the can member for housing a stator; a connection end plate for covering a connection end opening of the stator chamber; and a free end plate for covering a free end opening of the stator chamber.

Canned motor

A screw type dry vacuum pump having dual shafts is disclosed, whereby the process gas is transported through three compartments, a gas admittance pump section, a central drive motor section, and a gas discharge pump section. By placing the drive motor in the center of the pump, it becomes possible to design a pump having the dual shafts supported only at one end, thus enabling to mount the rotors at the free ends of the pump which are closed with end plates which can be removed easily for servicing the pump sections. Synchronous operation of the dual shaft pump by magnetic coupling enables to lower power consumption and to extend the range of operable pressures.

A vacuum pump has a pump casing having a suction side where a suction port is located and a discharge side where a discharge port is located, a pump assembly housed in the pump casing and comprising a pair of pump rotors rotatable in synchronism with each other and having respective shafts, and a brushless direct-current motor mounted on the pump casing at a suction side of the pump casing. The motor has a pair of motor rotors comprising respective sets of permanent magnets which are mounted respectively on the shafts, a pair of cans surrounding outer circumferential and end surfaces of the motor rotors in sealing relation to the pump assembly, a motor stator mounted on the cans and housed in a water-cooled motor frame.

A thrust bearing device for an electric motor lubricated by liquid within a motor casing includes a rotary disk fixed on a primary shaft of the motor and a sliding shoe member having sliding surfaces slidably in contact with a sliding surface of the rotary disk. The sliding shoe member is made of metal and is provided with a plurality of segmented shoes unitarily connected to a common base through respective ribs. The sliding shoe member is fixed to a motor bracket with a gap having a predetermined configuration provided between the retaining surface of the motor bracket and the bottom surface of the common base of the sliding shoe member at each of the portions thereof which respectively correspond to the shoes.
