A polyester resin composition having excellent hydrolysis resistance and excellent transparency and a method of producing the same are provided. There is provided a polyester resin composition comprising a polyester resin that is obtained from a dicarboxylic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof and a diol as main raw material; and a copper-containing compound and a chelate ligand compound having a nitrogen-containing heterocyclic structure or a tertiary amine structure that are mixed with the polyester resin.

Polyester resin composition and method for producing the same

An object is to provide a polyester resin having excellent hydrolysis resistance and good color tone and a method of producing the same. There is provided a polyester resin composition comprising a polyester resin that is prepared from a dicarboxylic acid or a dicarboxylic acid dialkyl ester and a diol as main raw material and mixed with: a copper halide; and at least one additive selected from the group consisting of compounds expressed by a formula (i) and compounds expressed by a formula (ii): MXn . . . Polyester resin composition and method for producing same

There is provided a production method of a crystalline polyamide resin by thermal polycondensation of a mixture including at least a diamine component, a dicarboxylic acid component and water as a starting material, wherein the diamine component includes (A) pentamethylene diamine at a ratio that is equal to or greater than 10 mol % and less than 80 mol % relative to a gross amount of the diamine component; and the dicarboxylic acid component includes (B) at least one selected from the group consisting of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid, an alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and dialkyl ester derivatives thereof at a ratio that is equal to or greater than 76 mol % and equal to or less than 100 mol % relative to a gross amount of the dicarboxylic acid component.

A method for producing a polyamide resin characterized by comprising thermally polycondension of tetramethylene diamine and either an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid having 7 or more carbon atoms or a salt thereof, and then being melt-polymerized at a temperature equal to or higher than the melting point thereof until the relative viscosity of a 0.01 g/ml solution thereof in 98% sulfuric acid solution with a 0.01 g/ml content at 25&#xb0; C. becomes 2.2-5.0.

Method for producing polyamide resin

A method for producing a diamine includes purifying a diamine from an aqueous solution containing a diamine salt by adding an alkaline substance to the aqueous solution and then filtering the resulting solution by allowing the solution to pass through a nanofiltration membrane to remove the salt, thereby obtaining an aqueous diamine solution.

Disclosed is a polyamide resin composition, a method for producing the composition, and articles from the composition. The polyamide resin composition polyamide resin composition is formed by melt-kneading (A) 100 parts by weight of nylon resin, and (B) 5-150 parts by weight of at least one of a non-fibrous inorganic filler having an average particle diameter of 0.05-10 &mgr;m and a fibrous inorganic filler, excluding glass fiber, having a fiber diameter of 0.05-10 &mgr;m. In the polyamide resin composition, an amount of a polyamide resin component deposit remaining on the inorganic filler when the inorganic filler is recovered by dissolving the polyamide resin composition into hexafluoroisopropanol is at least 4 g/m per unit surface area of the inorganic filler measured by a BET method. The nylon resin composition is excellent in rigidity and toughness and particularly excellent in high-speed surface impact fracture characteristic. The resin composition also achieve excellent surface external appearance and excellent dimensional stability in good balance in a formed article. The resin composition can suitably be formed by injection forming, extrusion, blow forming and the like, into various vehicular exterior parts, under-hood formed parts for motor vehicles, portable device casings and the like.

Polyamide resin composition and forming from the same

Provided is a polyamide resin composition comprising a melt blend of (A) a polyamide resin, (B) a phyllosilicate, and (C) an olefin compound having a carboxylic acid anhydride group in the molecule or a polymer of the olefin compound, in which the phyllosilicate (B) has a reactive functional group bonded thereto and is such that the exchangeable metal ions existing in the inter layers are ion-exchanged with organic onium ions. The composition has a reduced inorganic ash content and has both high stiffness and high ductility. Optionally, the composition contains an inorganic filler apart from the phyllosilicate, an impact modifier, and a flame retardant, still having high stiffness and high ductility.
