A jaw crusher includes: a crusher frame to which a cross member for connecting a pair of side wall plates is provided; a fixed jaw; a swing jaw swingably hung between the side wall plates; a pair of toggle link pins both of which are disposed along a common axial direction having a first outer end pivoted on the side plate and a second inner end pivoted on a main supporter provided to the cross member; and a reaction force-receiving link mechanism including a toggle link rotatably supported by the toggle link pin. The main supporter of the cross member on which the second end of the toggle link pin is pivoted is box-shaped.

Jaw crusher and self-traveling crusher

In a jaw crusher, cheek plates are mounted on side wall plates of a crusher frame by mounting bolts, and the mounting bolt adjacent to the outlet of the jaw crusher can be covered with the swing jaw by adjustment of an outlet gap-adjusting link mechanism. When the jaw crusher is in operation, the mounting bolt is covered by the swing jaw to avoid contact with raw materials, so that abrasion of and damages to the mounting bolt can be prevented. Thus, a longer lifetime of the jaw crusher can be promoted. Besides, since abrasion of and damages to the mounting bolt can be prevented, a mounting structure of the cheek plate can be stronger.

A jaw crusher is provided that includes a toggle plate holder mechanism, provided without increasing the overall height thereof, and a reaction force receiver link mechanism of an up-thrust type. A tension link mechanism acts as the toggle plate holder mechanism and includes a link having a tension link, a tension lever, a tension rod, and a tension spring. The layout angle of the tension link and tension rod can be changed freely by the tension lever.
