The present disclosure provides an imaging device and an electronic apparatus that can be made smaller in size, are capable of high-speed reading, and do not cause degradation of a captured image. The imaging device includes: a pixel that outputs a photoelectric conversion signal corresponding to an incident light quantity; and a comparator that compares the photoelectric conversion signal with a reference signal. The comparator includes: a differential circuit that outputs a signal corresponding to a signal difference between the photoelectric conversion signal and the reference signal; and a differential control circuit that sets an operating point of the differential circuit within a signal reset period before an operation of comparing the photoelectric conversion signal with the reference signal is started.

Imaging device and electronic apparatus

Provided is an amplifier that includes a first transistor including a gate terminal to which an applied input signal is input, where a current depending on the applied input signal flows through the first transistor. A gate terminal of a second transistor is connected to a load section, and a current depending on a change in a voltage of the drain terminal of the first transistor flows through the second transistor. A source terminal of the first transistor and a drain terminal of the second transistor are connected in common to a first resistance, and the current from the first transistor and the current from the second transistor flow through the first resistance. A third transistor supplies a current approximately equal to the current of the second transistor. The current supplied by the third transistor is output from an output end.

Display device, method of driving the same, and electronic unit

An electro-optical unit includes pixels provided correspondingly to portions where a plurality of pairs of data lines and a plurality of gate lines intersect with each other. Each of the pixels has an electro-optical device and a pixel circuit. The pixel circuit has a holding circuit connected with one of the plurality of pairs of data lines and one of the plurality of gate lines, and a selection circuit connected with an output of the holding circuit and the electro-optical device. The holding circuit is capable of sampling and holding a first image signal to be applied to one of the pair of the data lines, while sampling and holding a second image signal to be applied to the other of the pair of the data lines. The selection circuit is capable of outputting the first image signal and the second image signal to the electro-optical device selectively.

A power supply apparatus supplies a power supply voltage to a charge monitor that monitors charge states of rechargeable battery cells. The apparatus includes: a first capacitative element that supplies a power supply voltage to the charge monitor; a second capacitative element that is charged from the rechargeable battery cell and charges the first capacitative element; a switch group including a first switch that connects the first and second capacitative elements, and a second switch that connects the rechargeable battery cell and the second capacitative element; and a controller that controls the switch group. The controller repeats charging the second capacitative element by the rechargeable battery cell by connecting the rechargeable cell and the second capacitative element by the first switch, and charging the first capacitative element by the second capacitative element by connecting the first and second capacitative elements by the second switch.

Disclosed herein is a switch for turning on/off the connection between a first terminal and a second terminal. The switch includes a first transistor circuit configured from two transistors connected in series between the first terminal and the second terminal; and a second transistor circuit having a gate terminal connected to source terminals of the two transistors and a source terminal connected to gate terminals of the two transistors. The connection between the first terminal and the second terminal is changed over between on and off states by changing over a potential to the source terminal of the second transistor circuit between high and low levels.
