A crimp terminal () includes a conductor crimp portion () having a cross section formed into a U-shape by a bottom plate () and a pair of conductor crimping pieces () provided to extend on both sides of the bottom plate () and crimped to wrap a conductor (Wa) of an electric wire (W) disposed on an inner surface () of the bottom plate (). The conductor crimp portion () is crimped and connected to the conductor (Wa) and includes serrations () at respective lattice points of a lattice () assumed in an inner surface () of the conductor crimp portion () and obliquely crossing in a longitudinal direction of the conductor (Wa). The serrations () are consisted of cylindrical recesses having the same shape.

Crimp terminal

In a crimp terminal () with a conductor crimp portion () having recessed serrations in the inner surface (R), circular recesses () as serrations are provided in an inner surface (R) of the conductor crimp portion () to be scattered so as to be spaced from each other before the conductor crimp portion () is crimped to a conductor (Wa) of an electric wire (W). A strip-shaped serration non-forming region () is provided in an intermediate portion in a front-back direction of the conductor crimp portion () and formed without the recesses ().

Crimped terminal

Disclosed is a crimp terminal () provided with a conductor crimp unit (A) that has a base () and a swage unit (), which extends from the sides of the base () and swages in such a manner that a conductor () on the base () is crimped. Circular serrations () are multiply provided to the inner surface of the conductor crimp unit (A). The serrations () have different sizes according to region.

A conductor crimp portion () before being crimped to a conductor (Wa) of an electric wire includes, in an inner surface (R) of the conductor crimp portion (), circular recesses () as serrations of the conductor crimp portion () scattered to be spaced from each other. The recesses () each has an inner bottom surface (A) in a form of a hemispherical surface.

A conductor crimp portion () before being crimped to a conductor (Wa) of an electric wire includes, in an inner surface (R) of the conductor crimp portion (), circular recesses () as serrations of the conductor crimp portion () scattered to be spaced from each other. At an inner periphery corner portion where an inner bottom surface (A) and an inner periphery side surface (B) of each of the recesses () intersect with each other, a roundness portion (C) for connecting the inner bottom surface (A) with the inner periphery side surface (B) by a smooth continuous curved surface are provided.

A crimp-style terminal () which includes a base plate (); a conductor crimp unit () which is formed, to have a substantially U-shaped cross section, from a pair of conductor swage pieces () which extend to both sides of the base plate () and are swaged to encase conductors (Wa) of a wire (W), the wire being arranged on the inner surface of the base plate (), and which is crimped and connected to the terminals of the conductors (Wa); and a plurality of serrations () which are on the inner surface of the conductor crimp unit () and which are formed from cylindrical concave sections having identical radii. The depth of the serrations () formed at the rear end-side inner surface of the conductor swage pieces () is shallower than that of the serrations () formed at the front end-side inner surface of the base plate ().

Crimp-style terminal

A conductor crimp portion () includes, in an inner surface (R) of the conductor crimp portion (), circular recesses () as serrations of the conductor crimp portion () scattered to be spaced from each other. Each of the recesses () before crimping has an elliptical shape (oval shape) having a minor axis oriented in a front-rear direction and a major axis oriented in a direction orthogonal to the front-rear direction, to take on a shape close to a perfect circle after crimping.

A conductor crimp portion () before being crimped to a conductor of an electric wire includes, in an inner surface (R) of the conductor crimp portion (), circular recesses () as serrations of the conductor crimp portion () scattered to be spaced from each other. Each of the recesses () is formed through a press machining of the conductor crimp portion () by using a metal mold () with a protruded portion () formed, by a discharge machining, in a position corresponding to each of the recesses () or by using a metal mold with a protruded portion () formed, by press fitting a pin () into a press fit hole () formed in a block (), in a position corresponding to each of the recesses ().
