A novel oscillator, an amplifier circuit, an inverter circuit, an amplifier circuit, a battery control circuit, a battery protection circuit, a power storage device, a semiconductor device, an electric device, and the like are provided. The semiconductor device includes an oscillator including a first transistor containing a metal oxide, and a second transistor to a fifth transistor, in which a first potential is supplied to a gate of the second transistor and a gate of the third transistor when the first transistor is turned on, and the first potential is held when the first transistor is turned off. The oscillator supplies a first signal based on the first potential to a first circuit. The first circuit performs at least one of shaping and amplification on the first signal. The second transistor and the fourth transistor are connected in series, and the third transistor and the fifth transistor are connected in series. A source or a drain of the third transistor is electrically connected to a gate of the fourth transistor, and a source or a drain of the fourth transistor is electrically connected to the gate of the third transistor.

Semiconductor device and method for operating semiconductor device

A semiconductor device having a novel structure is provided. The semiconductor device includes a CPU and an accelerator. The accelerator includes a first memory circuit and an arithmetic circuit. The first memory circuit includes a first transistor. The first transistor includes a semiconductor layer containing a metal oxide in a channel formation region. The arithmetic circuit includes a second transistor. The second transistor includes a semiconductor layer containing silicon in a channel formation region. The first transistor and the second transistor are provided to be stacked. The CPU includes a CPU core including a flip-flop provided with a backup circuit. The backup circuit includes a third transistor. The third transistor includes a semiconductor layer containing a metal oxide in a channel formation region.

Semiconductor device

A head-up display includes: a display device that emits image light; a mirror that reflects the image light; a mirror holder that includes a rotating shaft; and a bearing that rotatably supports the rotating shaft. The mirror holder supports the mirror from a back surface side of the mirror. The rotating shaft comprises a first rotating shaft located outside a perimeter of the mirror as viewed from the back surface side of the mirror, and a second rotating shaft located inside the perimeter of the mirror as viewed from the back surface side of the mirror. The second rotating shaft is provided on an axis same as an axis of the first rotating shaft. The bearing supports the first rotating shaft and the second rotating shaft.

Head-up display

A headup display device includes: a display having an emission surface that emits display light relating to predetermined information; a reflecting member that is disposed above the display and reflects the display light emitted from the display; a combiner part on which the display light reflected off the reflecting member is incident; a transmissive member that is disposed between the display and the reflecting member to cover the emission surface and transmits the display light emitted from the display toward the reflecting member; and a blocking member that is disposed above the transmissive member and blocks out light that is reflected off the transmissive member to be incident on the combiner part. A transmissive-member-side end of the blocking member is disposed to be movable from a first position where the light is blocked out to a second position closer to the transmissive member than the first position is.

Headup display device

A combiner lifting device includes: a support unit that includes a first pin and a second pin, and supports a combiner; and two side surface portions disposed on both sides of the combiner, respectively. Each of the side surface portions includes a first groove along which the first pin slides, and a second groove along which the second pin slides. The side surface portions support the support unit in such a manner that the support unit is rotatable around the first pin when the first pin is located at an end of the first groove.
