A connector lock structure includes a lock arm that extends along a fitting direction and is formed on a side wall of a connector housing, and maintains a fitted state by being elastically engaged with a counterpart connector housing; a pair of flexible and deformable plate-shaped support walls that protrude rearward of the side wall to sandwich a rear portion of the lock arm therebetween; a coupling portion that couples each of the plate-shaped support walls to the rear portion of the lock arm in a width direction of the connector housing; and an upward protruding portion that protrudes upward than the coupling portion and is formed on each of the plate-shaped support walls.

Connector lock structure

A connector lock structure includes: a lock arm extending from a front end to a rear end in a fitting direction and formed on a side wall of a connector housing; a pair of plate-shaped support walls provided at a rear portion of the side wall to protrude from the side wall and sandwiching a rear portion of the lock arm therebetween; a connecting portion that connects upper ends of the pair of plate-shaped support walls in a width direction to cross over the rear portion of the lock arm; and a lock operation space having a cut formed at a rear end of the connecting portion. A rear end of one of the pair of plate-shaped support walls is located closer to the front end of the lock arm than the rear end of the lock arm in the fitting direction.

A connector includes a terminal having a base plate portion and a pair of elastic curl portions, a connector housing having a terminal accommodating chamber, a flexible locking piece provided on a first wall of facing walls of the terminal accommodating chamber, a recessed groove provided on a second wall of the facing walls, extends from a rear side of the connector housing toward a front side of the connector housing along a terminal insertion direction of the terminal, and has a groove width smaller than a width of the base plate portion, and a contact surface formed at a front end portion of the recessed groove. When the terminal is reversely inserted, tip end contact portions of the elastic curl portions are brought into contact with the contact surface to prevent the terminal from being inserted further.

Connector

In a connector () including: a first connector housing () including a hood portion () having a substantially cylinder shape to be fitted to an outer circumference of a cylindrical portion () of a second connector housing (), and a lock arm () formed integrally with a terminal storing portion () such that a free end side of the lock arm () is deflected and deformed in a direction perpendicular to a surface of the cylindrical portion (); and the second connector housing () including the cylindrical portion (), and a lock protrusion () which is provided to protrude from an outer surface of the cylindrical portion () and which engages the lock arm () when a fitting length between the cylindrical portion () and the hood portion () reaches a predetermined value, the first connector housing () is formed of a hydrolysis-resistant material.

A connector includes a first member constituting a main body of the connector; and one or a plurality of second members attached to the first member. A specific member is selected from the group consisting of the first member and the second members to have a portion to be elastically deformed upon the attachment, and the specific member is formed of a hydrolysis-resistant material.

Weather-proof connector

A connector includes: a first connector housing which allows a second connector housing to be fitted in a fitting direction; and a retainer which is inserted, in an insertion direction perpendicular to the fitting direction, into the first connector housing, and which includes: a housing lock arm engaged with a lock protrusion provided in the first connector housing to position the retainer in a temporary lock position and a regular lock position when the retainer is inserted into the first connector housing; and a terminal lock portion engaged with a terminal metal fitting provided in the first connector housing to prevent the terminal metal fitting from dropping off when the retainer is positioned in the regular lock position. The retainer includes an arm support portion which supports both ends of the housing lock arm extending in the insertion direction.

To provide a press-fit terminal and a terminal press-fit structure that enable shortening of a press-fit portion in its longitudinal direction and miniaturization of a connector. A press-fit terminal has insertion stoppers that are projectingly provided on respective flanks of a press-fit portion and that have respective engagement surfaces oriented orthogonally to a press-fit direction; and holding projections that are projectingly provided on respective protruding leading-end faces of the insertion stoppers and that bite into interior side walls of a press-fit hole of a housing which receives the press-fit portion. Each of the holding projections is projectingly formed in a portion of the protruding leading-end face of the insertion stopper along its thicknesswise direction.

Press-fit terminal and terminal press-fit structure

There is provided a connector inspection system. A connector housing to be inspected includes reference flat surfaces formed by straight extending in an insertion direction of a connecting terminal in a top side outer peripheral region of a terminal receiving part so as not to overlap with a mounting range of a packing attachment surface, and an inspection jig includes guide flat surfaces for slidably making surface contact with the reference flat surfaces in the case of inserting a detecting pin into a hole for inspection of the connector housing, and a position and a direction of insertion of the inspection jig into the connector housing are regulated by sliding contact between the reference flat surfaces and the guide flat surfaces.

Connector inspection system

A connector comprises: a connector housing that has a lock arm that locks a mated corresponding housing in a corresponding housing mating chamber, an arm operation part that can displace the lock arm to a position that releases the lock by an operation, a wire extraction part that is positioned in the release operation direction of the arm operation part and guides wires that are guided to the outside, a cover attachment part provided on the wire extraction part; and a wire cover that has a housing attachment part that is inserted into the peripheral side of the wire extraction part of the connector housing and mated to the cover attachment part and an arm excessive displacement prevention part that restricts excessive displacement of the lock arm.

There is provided a board connector that prevents loads due to thermal changes in a connector housing from being directly imposed on soldered areas of anchor hardware and that enhances anchoring reliability of the anchor hardware. A board connector includes a connector housing to be populated on a circuit board, anchor hardware for soldering the connector housing to the circuit board, holding grooves that are formed on the connector housing and capable of press-fitting and holding upper lugs of the anchor hardware, and tapered portions that are formed in the respective holding grooves and that guide the upper lugs of each of the pieces of press-fitted anchor hardware in a direction away from each side surface of the connector housing, thereby creating clearance S between the anchor hardware and respective opposing side surfaces of the connector housing.

A connector apparatus includes a board mounting connector mounted on a board housed in a housing case, a mating connector fit to the board mounting connector, and a guide hood that has a connector fitting part to guide insertion of the mating connector and is fit into an opening section of the housing case. The board mounting connector has a recessed fitting part, into which a housing front-end side fitting part of the mating connector is inserted. A connector fitting part of the guide hood has a second opening whose width is wider than a width of a first opening of the recessed fitting part and is substantially equal to a width of a housing rear-end side fitting part of the mating connector. A retainer is held in a housing rear-end side fitting part of the mating connector.
