A heat exchanger, that connects to a first pipe through which a refrigerant flows, includes: heat transfer tubes extending in a first direction; and a header connected to the heat transfer tubes. The header includes: a first member including a first portion connected to the heat transfer tubes; and a second member disposed between the first pipe and the first portion. The second member includes: a first wall and a second wall that each extend in the first direction; and a coupling portion that couples the first wall to the second wall. The first pipe communicates with each heat transfer tube through a space delimited by the first wall and the second wall.

Heat exchanger and heat pump apparatus

A heat exchanger includes: a header that guides a refrigerant; and an assembly of heat transfer tubes and fins that is connected to the header and that causes heat exchange between the refrigerant and a medium. The header includes: a first member having a first surface; a second member having a second surface that faces the first surface; and third member having a third surface that intersects with the first surface and the second surface. The first surface is joined with the second surface by a first brazing material having a first thickness. The third surface is joined with the first member by a second brazing material having a second thickness. The third surface is joined with the second member by the second brazing material. The first thickness is less than the second thickness. The first thickness is 0.2 mm or less.

Heat exchanger including header

A heat exchanger includes: flat pipes each including a passage for refrigerant that are arranged side by side in a predetermined step direction; and a header collecting pipe extending along the predetermined step direction that is connected to the flat pipes. The header collecting pipe includes: a flat pipe-side header forming member; and an opposite-side header forming member facing the flat pipe-side header forming member. The flat pipes are inserted in the flat pipe-side header forming member and an internal space exists between the flat pipe-side header forming member and the opposite-side header forming member. When viewed along the predetermined step direction: the flat pipe-side header forming member has a flat pipe-side curved portion protruding toward the flat pipes and the opposite-side header forming member has an opposite-side curved portion protruding toward a side away from the flat pipes.

Heat exchanger and air conditioner having the same

A heat exchanger connected to a refrigerant pipe includes: heat transfer tubes; and a header that connects the refrigerant pipe and the heat transfer tubes, and that forms a refrigerant flow path between the refrigerant pipe and the heat transfer tubes. The header includes a first member that includes a first plate-shaped portion, and a second member that includes a second plate-shaped portion that is stacked on a heat transfer tubes side of the first plate-shaped portion. The first plate-shaped portion has a first opening that forms the refrigerant flow path. The second plate-shaped portion has a second opening that forms the refrigerant flow path. When viewed in a stacking direction of the first plate-shaped portion and the second plate-shaped portion, the second opening and the first opening overlap each other at a first region and at a second region that is different from the first region.

Heat exchanger and heat pump device

A heat exchanger is connected to a first pipe through which a refrigerant flows. The heat exchanger includes: heat transfer tubes; and a header connected to the heat transfer tubes. The header includes: a first plate-shaped portion connected to the first pipe; a second plate-shaped portion connected to the heat transfer tubes; a third plate-shaped portion disposed between the first plate-shaped portion and the second plate-shaped portion; and a fourth plate-shaped portion that is disposed between the third plate-shaped portion and the second plate-shaped portion and that has communication openings for the heat transfer tubes. The first plate-shaped portion, the third plate-shaped portion, the fourth plate-shaped portion, and the second plate-shaped portion are stacked and overlap in a stacking direction. The third plate-shaped portion has a refrigerant flow path formation opening including: a first region through which the refrigerant flows in a first direction perpendicular to the stacking direction.

A heat exchanger includes: flat pipes disposed in multiple stages in a stage direction corresponding to an up-down direction; and fins that partition a space between adjacent two of the flat pipes into air flow passages through which air flows. Each of the flat pipes includes a passage for a refrigerant inside thereof. The flat pipes are divided into heat exchange paths arrayed in multiple stages in the stage direction. One of the heat exchange paths that includes a lowermost one of the flat pipes is defined as a first heat exchange path. A length of the passage from a first end to a second end of a flow of the refrigerant in each of the heat exchange paths is defined as a path effective length.

Heat exchanger and air conditioning apparatus including the same

A heat exchanger includes heat transfer tubes and a header that forms a refrigerant flow path. The header includes: a first member that includes a first plate-shaped portion; a second member that includes a second plate-shaped portion; a third member that includes a third plate-shaped portion positioned between the first plate-shaped portion and the second plate-shaped portion in a first direction that is a direction in which the first plate-shaped portion and the second plate-shaped portion are arranged; a fourth member that includes a fourth plate-shaped portion positioned between the first plate-shaped portion and the second plate-shaped portion in the first direction and a second opening that constitutes a part of the refrigerant flow path, where a second is along a longitudinal direction of the second opening; and a fifth member.

A heat exchanger includes: flat pipes arranged such that flat surfaces of the flat pipes are opposed to one another; and fins each including insertion parts that extend in an insertion direction that crosses a direction in which the flat pipes are disposed and a longitudinal direction of the flat pipes. At least part of each of the flat pipes is inserted into a corresponding one of the insertion parts. Each of the fins includes a cut-and-raised part that is cut and raised in a thickness direction between the insertion parts, and a rib disposed between the insertion part and the cut-and-raised part.

A heat exchanger including: a header; flat tubes connected to the header and disposed in line along a longitudinal direction of the header; a first partition that partitions an inner space of the header into a first space on a side where the flat tubes are connected and a second space on a side opposite to the first space; and a second partition that partitions the inner space of the header into a first side and a second side. The first side is one side of the header in the longitudinal direction and the second side is opposite to the first side. The first partition has a common opening. The common opening includes an insertion opening and a refrigerant opening. A refrigerant moves between the first space and the second space via the refrigerant opening. The second partition is inserted into the insertion opening.

A heat exchanger includes: a heat exchanging part that includes flat tubes aligned vertically when the heat exchanger is installed; a first flow divider that includes a first pipe through which a refrigerant enters or exits from the first flow divider, second pipes that provide refrigerant flow paths between the heat exchanging part and the first pipe, and a main body that internally has a first space; and second flow dividers that each internally include one of second spaces that provide refrigerant flow paths between the heat exchanging part and the first flow divider. The first space communicates with a first end of the first pipe and a first end of each of the second pipes and causes the refrigerant to flow from the first pipe into the second pipes or from the second pipes into the first pipe.

Heat exchanger or refrigeration apparatus including heat exchanger

A refrigerant distributor includes a first refrigerant pipe, a plurality of second refrigerant pipes, a body, a first plate, and a second plate. The body is made of aluminum or aluminum alloy. The body is configured to distribute a refrigerant from the first refrigerant pipe into the second refrigerant pipes or merge the refrigerant flowing from each of the second refrigerant pipes into the first refrigerant pipe. The body has a first surface connected to the first refrigerant pipe and a second surface connected to the second refrigerant pipes. The first plate is joined to the first surface, and has an outer surface exposed to atmosphere and provided with a first sacrificial anode layer for the body. The second plate is joined to the second surface, and has an outer surface exposed to atmosphere and provided with a second sacrificial anode layer for the body.

Refrigerant distributor and air conditioner

A heat exchanger includes: a header; flat tubes disposed in line along a longitudinal direction of the header and connected to the header: a refrigerant pipe connected to an introduction space in the header; and a nozzle. When the heat exchanger operates as an evaporator of a refrigerant, the refrigerant is fed through the nozzle from the introduction space to a supply space disposed adjacent to the introduction space in the longitudinal direction of the header. The nozzle is disposed on a side closer to the flat tubes than to the refrigerant pipe. A width of a first zone in the introduction space on the side closer to the flat tubes is smaller than a width of a second zone in the introduction space on a side where the refrigerant pipe is connected.

A heat exchanger includes: heat transfer tubes that are made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and are disposed in multiple tiers in a first direction that intersects a second direction along which a heating medium flows; and a coupling header that couples the heat transfer tubes together. The coupling header includes: a first member that includes a first core made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a first sacrificial anode layer; a second member that includes no sacrificial anode layer; and a third member that includes a second core made of aluminum or an aluminum alloy and a second sacrificial anode layer.

Heat exchanger and air conditioning apparatus

An outdoor heat exchanger includes a plurality of flat multi-hole tubes, a return header, a plurality of heat transfer fins, and a partition including a concave-convex portion on the leeward side. A space inside the return header to which the flat multi-hole tubes are connected is formed so as to cause a larger amount of refrigerant to flow on the upstream side than on the downstream side in an airflow direction.
