An inductor component includes an element body, a coil on the body and spirally wound along an axis, first and second external electrodes electrically connected to the coil, and first and second through wirings which penetrate a substrate of the element body between main surfaces. The first coil wirings and through wirings, and the second coil wirings and through wirings, are connected as follows. With respect to two of the first through wirings adjacent to each other in a direction of the axis, on the first main surface, a relationship between a radius of an equivalent circle diameter of an end surface of each of the first through wirings and a minimum distance between end surfaces of the two first through wirings is satisfied, and with respect to two of the second through wirings adjacent to each other in the direction of the axis, a similar relationship is satisfied.

Inductor component and mounting structure of inductor component

A body of an inductor component includes a magnetic layer, a first insulating resin, a second insulating resin, and an insulating layer. First inductor wiring extends along a principal surface of the body, inside the magnetic layer. First vertical wiring is connected to an upper surface of a first pad of the first inductor wiring. An upper surface of the first vertical wiring is exposed without being obstructed by the principal surface. A first outer terminal is connected to the upper surface of the first vertical wiring and protrudes from the principal surface upward in a thickness direction. The first outer terminal includes a metal layer covering the upper surface of the first vertical wiring and a solder portion on an upper surface of the metal layer. An upper portion including a protruding distal end of the first outer terminal is the solder portion made of a tin alloy.

Inductor component

An inductor component includes an element body having a main surface, a coil disposed in the element body, and extending along the main surface, and a first vertical wiring and a second vertical wiring provided in the element body such that respective end surfaces thereof are exposed from the main surface of the element body, and connected to respective ends of the coil. The coil has a coil wiring portion having a first end portion and a second end portion, and extending along a circumferential direction, with the number of turns equal to or less than 1, a first pad portion that is a portion to which the first vertical wiring is connected and that is connected to the first end portion, and a second pad portion that is a portion to which the second vertical wiring is connected and that is connected to the second end portion.

Inductor component and mounting component

A DC/DC converter component has a reduced mounting area and includes an inductor component; a semiconductor integrated circuit including a switch circuit connected to the inductor component, and a control circuit that controls the switch circuit; and a package substrate, to which the semiconductor integrated circuit is mounted, having a mounting face that opposes an other substrate when the package substrate is mounted to the other substrate. The inductor component includes an element body, and a plurality of inductor wiring lines, each extending in the element body and in parallel with a main face of the element body. A value of inductance of a second inductor wiring line is 10% or more greater than a value of inductance of a first inductor wiring line. The inductor component has a dimension equal to or less than 0.25 millimeters in a thickness direction, and is mounted to the package substrate.

DC/DC converter component

An inductor component in which degradation of the insulation property, the inductance acquisition efficiency, and mechanical strength is suppressed. An inductor component includes a flat plate-shaped main body containing magnetic powder and a resin piece containing the magnetic powder; an inductor wire arranged in the main body; and an external terminal electrically connected to the inductor wire and exposed from a main surface of the main body. An average particle size X of the magnetic powder, a thickness T orthogonal to the main surface of the main body, and a first arithmetic mean roughness Rof a part of a straight line on the main surface passing through the external terminal and excluding a part overlapping with the external terminal satisfying Formula (1): X/10≤R≤T/10 . . . Formula (1).

Inductor component and inductor component embedded substrate

An inductor component includes a main body, a first inductor wiring located inside the main body and extending on a virtual plane, and a second inductor wiring located inside the main body and extending in parallel to the virtual plane. The inductor component includes a third inductor wiring located between the first inductor wiring and the second inductor wiring inside the main body and extending in parallel to the virtual plane. The inductor component includes vertical wirings passing through the inside of the main body from each of the first to third inductor wirings to a surface of the main body in a direction perpendicular to the virtual plane. The third inductor wiring is a low-resistance inductor wiring having a DC electrical resistance smaller than those of the first inductor wiring and the second inductor wiring.

In an inductor component, a first magnetic layer thickness of the first magnetic layer as a measurement in the normal direction is smaller than a second magnetic layer thickness of the second magnetic layer as a measurement in the normal direction. An inductor wiring thickness of the inductor wiring as a measurement in the normal direction is from larger than 0.5 times a vertical wiring thickness of the vertical wiring as a measurement in the normal direction to smaller than 1.5 times the vertical wiring thickness.

Inductor component and manufacturing method of inductor component

An inductor component includes an inductor wiring line that extends in a plane, a magnetic layer that is formed of an organic resin containing a magnetic powder and that covers the inductor wiring line, and a nonmagnetic-body insulating layer that is formed of an organic resin containing an insulating nonmagnetic powder and that covers a principal surface of the magnetic layer. The inductor component further includes a close-contact layer that is located between the magnetic layer and the insulating layer and that contains the magnetic powder, the nonmagnetic powder, and an organic resin.

An inductor component comprising a first magnetic layer and a second magnetic layer containing a resin, a substrate of a sintered body having a first principal surface in close contact with the first magnetic layer and a second principal surface above which the second magnetic layer is disposed, and a spiral wiring disposed between the second magnetic layer and the substrate.

An inductor component includes first and second inductor wiring lines, a first vertical wiring line, a second vertical wiring line, and a third vertical wiring line, wherein the first vertical wiring line and the second vertical wiring line are connected to the first end portion and the second end portion of the first inductor wiring line, respectively, and the third vertical wiring line and the second vertical wiring line are connected to the first end portion and the second end portion of the second inductor wiring line, respectively.

Inductor component and inductor component mounting substrate

An inductor component comprising a laminated body having a magnetic layer containing a resin and a metal magnetic powder contained in the resin; an inductor wiring disposed in the laminated body; and an external terminal exposed from the laminated body. The external terminal includes a metal part and a resin part, and in a cross section of the external terminal, the resin part is enclosed in the metal part.

An inductor component includes a multilayer body including a magnetic layer and a spiral wiring line disposed in the multilayer body. The magnetic layer includes a base resin, a metal magnetic powder, and a non-magnetic powder. The base resin has voids, and the metal magnetic powder and the non-magnetic powder are contained in the base resin. There is a particle of the metal magnetic powder that is in contact with at least one of the voids and with the non-magnetic powder.

The multilayer inductor includes a multilayer body including a plurality of insulating layers laminated in a lamination direction, and a plurality of coil groups arranged in the multilayer body along the lamination direction and connected in series. Each of the coil groups includes a plurality of coil patterns respectively provided on the insulating layers and laminated in the lamination direction, and is configured by connecting a plurality of pattern groups in series. Each of the pattern groups is formed by connecting n (n is a positive integer) coil patterns in parallel. The number of parallels n of at least one of the coil groups is different from the number of parallels n of another coil group. The insulating layers include magnetic and non-magnetic insulating layers. At least one of the insulating layers adjacent to one of the coil patterns is the non-magnetic insulating layer.

Multilayer inductor

A coil is provided at a multilayer body including insulating layers stacked on one another. The coil includes linear conductors connected by via conductors to make a looped track when viewed from a layer stacking direction. The linear conductors include a first linear conductor contacting with an external electrode provided on the surface of the multilayer body, and a second linear conductor forming a half of the looped track. The first linear conductor includes a coil portion forming a part of the looped track. The second linear conductor is adjacent to the first linear conductor with one of the insulating layers in-between, and a first end of the second linear conductor is connected to a first end of the first linear conductor by a first via conductor. A second end of the second linear conductor does not overlap the first linear conductor when viewed from the layer stacking direction.
