A scroll compressor includes a fixed scroll and a movable scroll. The fixed-side wrap extends, from a main surface of the fixed-side end plate, along a first direction with a fixed-side dimension set in advance. The movable-side wrap extends, from a main surface of the movable-side end plate, along the first direction with a movable-side dimension set in advance. The fixed and movable side dimensions are set such that a fixed-side first region receives a force that presses the movable scroll against the fixed scroll when the movable scroll is inclined with respect to the fixed scroll. The fixed-side first region includes a distal end surface of a part between 0.0 and 0.5 turns from a fixed-side reference point set in advance and located on an outermost periphery of the fixed-side wrap, and a distal end surface of a part between 1.0 and 1.5 turns from the fixed-side reference point.

A compressor includes a crankshaft, an electric motor, a counterweight, and an oil outflow reduction member. The electric motor has a rotor coupled to the crankshaft and a stator in which the rotor is housed with an air gap formed between the stator and the rotor. The counterweight is disposed adjacent to the rotor and is integrated with the crankshaft. The oil outflow reduction member encloses an upper side, a lower side, and a lateral side of a counterweight passing space. The counterweight passing space is a space through which at least part of the counterweight passes when the crankshaft rotates 360&#xb0;.

Compressor

A compressor includes compression and drive mechanisms disposed in a casing having a cylindrical member. The compression mechanism includes a cylinder main body, an end surface member attached to the cylinder main body, a muffler main body attached to the end surface member, an intake hole communicating with the compression chamber and extending in a direction crossing the drive shaft, and a circular hole located radially outside the compression chamber and extending in a direction parallel to the drive shaft. The circular hole opens to a space inside the casing. At least a part of the circular hole is located within an area defined by extending the intake hole in a plan view. A method of producing a compressor includes inserting a positioning pin into the circular hole of the compression mechanism and pressing an inlet tube into the intake hole from outside of the cylindrical member.

A compressor includes a compression mechanism and a drive shaft having an oil supply hole opened through an outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft to supply oil to a bearing surface of the drive shaft. An oil discharge passage communicating with the oil supply hole is formed by a flat surface or a recessed surface at a portion of the outer peripheral surface of the drive shaft. A trailing edge of the oil discharge passage is displaced behind a trailing edge of the oil supply hole with respect to a rotation direction of the drive shaft. A leading edge of the oil discharge passage is displaced behind a leading edge of the oil supply hole with respect to the rotation direction of the drive shaft. The oil discharge passage has a width that is no larger than a diameter of the oil supply hole.
