Resin molded product and method for producing same

A resin molded product has a terminal body () in which plate-like terminals () and a housing () made of synthetic resin are integrally fixed. Each terminal () includes a bend (), terminal bodies () and wire-side connecting portions () continuous with both ends of the terminals (). Molded portions () embed parts of the terminal bodies () and the wire-side connecting portions () together with inner curved surfaces () of the bends (). Flat side surfaces () of the terminal bodies () and flat side surfaces () of the wire-side connecting portions () are exposed from and adjacent to the molded portions () on both sides of the terminal bodies () and both sides of the wire-side connecting portions (), and flat surfaces () are exposed from the molded portions () on both side surfaces (A) of the bend ().

Resin molded product

A connector () to be mounted on ends of wires (W) to be installed in a vehicle includes female terminals () that are to be connected to the ends of the wires, a housing () in which the female terminals () are accommodated and from which the wires (W) are drawn out, and a shield bracket () that fixes the housing () to a case of a device installed in the vehicle. The shield bracket () includes a wire fixing portion () between a wire draw-out part (P) where the wires (W) are drawn out from the housing () and a vibrating part (P). The wire fixing portion () fixes the wires (W) extending in a direction intersecting an extending direction of the wires (W) in the vibrating part (P) where the wires (W) vibrate as the vehicle vibrates.

Connector and mounting method therefor

A seal cover (S) for closing work openings provided in a case includes a cover main body () to cover openings of the case. Seal ring holders (A,B) are arranged on the underside of the cover main body () and fit into the openings. Seal rings () are on the outer peripheral surfaces of the seal ring holders (A,B) and closely contact inner peripheral surfaces of the openings. Insertion holes () penetrate between top and underside surfaces of the cover main body (). Shafts () project from surfaces of the seal ring holders (A,B) facing the underside surface of the cover main body () and are inserted into the insertion holes () with a clearance. Retainers () for retaining the shafts () are provided at the projecting ends of the shafts () and are engaged with the edges of the insertion holes ().

Seal cover for in-vehicle electric device

A wire fixing member () is fixed to a case in a state where wires (W) are inserted through mounting holes of the case. The wire fixing member () includes housings () through which wire insertion holes () allowing the insertion of the wires penetrate, rubber rings () that seal between the case and the housings (), rubber plugs () that seal between the housings () and the wires (W) and metal wire crimp fittings () are held and retained in the housings () in a state where the wires (W) are fixed. A waterproof area (R) is formed on a side of the wire insertion hole () communicating with the interior of the case, is made waterproof by the rubber ring () and the rubber plug (). The wire crimp fitting () is arranged in the waterproof area (R).

Wire fixing member

A seal cover includes a cover main body () shaped to cover an opening of a case and to be attached to a surface of the case. A seal ring holder (A) is on the underside of the cover main body () and is arranged to fit into the opening. A seal ring () is on the outer peripheral surface of the seal ring holder (A) and closely contacts the inner peripheral surface of the opening. An interlock connector () projects from the seal ring holder (A) for connecting to the waiting connector and sets an energizing circuit in an energized state or a non-energized state upon being connected to or separated from the waiting connector. The interlock connector () is mounted on the seal ring holder (A) to be movable in a direction perpendicular to a connecting direction to the waiting connector.

A nut () includes a main portion (A) formed with a bolt insertion hole (), into which a bolt is insertable, and a wedge portion (B) projecting from the main portion (A) in a radially outward direction of the bolt insertion hole () and having a width smaller than that of the main portion (A). Thus, parts (B) extending lateral to the wedge portion (B) in parallel with a projecting direction of the wedge portion (B) can be made thicker than parts (A) extending lateral to the main portion (A). Therefore, the parts (B) that resist an accompanying rotation of the nut () can be thickened without enlarging a housing (), with the result that strength against the accompanying rotation of the nut () can be ensured.

Nut and a housing

A sealing cover () is provided for closing an opening of an equipment case that accommodates electric equipment of a car. The electric equipment includes a circuit with an operation control portion for switching a main circuit from an operating state to a shutdown state in accordance with signals inputted to an input terminal thereof. The sealing cover () has a cover body () mounted on the equipment case to close the open part. An interlocking connector () is provided on the cover body () and is connected to the input terminal when the cover body () is mounted on the equipment case and disconnected from the input terminal when the cover body () is removed from the equipment case to switch the main body circuit from the operating state to the shutdown state.

Sealing cover for electric equipment mounted on car

A connector is provided for improving connection reliability between terminal fittings by preventing wires from shaking to prevent sliding movements of the terminal fittings. The connector includes a metallic shield shell () to be mounted at ends of a plurality of wires (). The shield shell () includes a mounting portion () for fixing the connector to a case of a device, and the mounting portion () includes a wire fixing portion () for holding and fixing the plurality of wires () on a surface thereof at a draw-out side of the wires ().

Connector

A connector has a housing with a fit-on tube that can fit in a hood of a mating connector. Terminal fittings are fixed to ends of wires and are held by the housing. A sealing ring is mounted on an annular holding groove on a peripheral surface of the fit-on tube and is disposed between the peripheral surface of the fit-on tube and an inner surface of the hood to seal a gap therebetween. Engaging grooves are formed in the peripheral surface of the fit-on tube. The engaging grooves intersect the annular holding groove and are deeper than a bottom surface of the annular holding groove. Rotation-stopping projections project from the sealing ring to extend along a direction in which the engaging grooves extend and each has an engaging claw that can fit on a bottom of one of the engaging grooves.

A connector assembly is provided with an electric wire-side housing () to be fit on a device-side connector () that has relay terminals (). Guide projections () project out from an outer peripheral surface of a wire-deriving tube () of the wire-side housing (). The guide projections () guide a shielding tube () of a shielding shell () in position with respect to the wire-deriving tube (). Therefore in fixing the shielding shell () to a connector-mounting member (), an inner peripheral surface of the shielding tube () contacts the guide projections () of the wire-side housing () to fit the shielding shell () on the wire-side housing () without dislocation.

Connector assembly with guide projections

A connector is provided with terminals () to be connected with terminals () of a mating connector () by bolting and a nut accommodating portion () for accommodating nuts () for bolting. An entrance (A) enabling the insertion and withdrawal of the nuts () is formed at a connection surface side of the nut accommodating portion () with the mating connector. A nut cover () for preventing the nuts () from coming out through the entrance (A) is detachably attachable to the nut accommodating portion () and includes inverted insertion preventing portions () for permitting a connection with the mating connector () when the mating connector () is in a proper orientation while coming into contact with the mating connector () to prevent the connection when the mating connector () is not in the proper orientation.

Connector, a connector assembly and a connecting method

A shielded connector assembly has first and second housings (). The first housing () has a fitting space () formed with coupling ribs (). A shielding shell () is in the fitting space () and has slits () that receive the coupling ribs (). A preventing groove () is formed in a peripheral surface of a fitting space () and receives a projection () of the second housing () when the housings () are connected properly. The preventing groove () is aligned with the slit () so that the slit () also receives the projection (). Thus, it is unnecessary to form a separate notch to receive the projection ().

Shielded connector, mating shielded connector and shielded connector assembly

A connection shell () includes a tubular fastener () formed by flat surfaces () and curved surfaces () and a rectangular tubular contact (). A crimp ring () is crimped to fasten a wire shield () to the outer peripheral surface of the tubular fastener (). The tubular contact () is connected so that a circumferential surface thereof overlaps a circumferential surface of a housing shell (). The tubular contact () has a rectangular shape that conforms with the rectangular tubular shape of the housing shell (). Thus, only a small clearance is defined between the housing shell () and the connection shell () to suppress leakage of noise through the clearance between the housing shell () and the connection shell ().
