Provided is a wiper blade wherein: a pair of accommodation sections are disposed in both sides in the short direction of a holder main body () so as to sandwich a holding section () therebetween; a pair of vertebrae that elastically deform a blade rubber () to match the curvature of a front glass are accommodated in each accommodation section; an insertion opening (O) capable of inserting a main body section () is disposed between an end cap () and the holder main body (); and a guiding section () that guides the main body section () towards the holding section () is disposed on the end cap () side where the insertion opening (O) is formed.

Wiper blade and method of assembling the same

Provided is a wiper blade wherein: a pair of accommodation sections () are disposed so as to sandwich therebetween a holding section () that holds a main body section (); a vertebra () is accommodated in each of the accommodation sections (); an arm connection member () to which a wiper arm is connected is fixed to each vertebra (); a rubber pressing section () that presses the main body section () towards a front glass is disposed in a section of the holding section () that faces the front glass; and a holder pressing section () that presses a holder member () towards the front glass by the elastic force of each vertebra () is disposed in the section of each accommodation section () that faces the front glass, further on the front glass side than the rubber pressing section ().

Wiper blade

A fin part () is provided on a side opposite to a wiping surface side of a rubber holder () to press a blade rubber () toward the wiping surface side by receiving a wind (W) flowing along a moving car, and covering parts () protrude from both lengthwise ends of the blade rubber () toward the wiping surface side so as to partially cover lateral parts of the blade rubber (). Owing to the fin part (), liftoff of a wiper blade () can be prevented. A wind (W) flowing from the front side to the rear side at an end part of a swing center side of the blade rubber () can be rectified by the covering part (), and the wind (W) can flow along the rear side of the wiper blade () in the length direction of the wiper blade ().
