A demonstration system of an electronic equipment. The electronic equipment includes first and second operation units which are arranged on a front panel of the electronic equipment. In the first operation unit, there are provided display device, various operation keys, demonstration key, light receiving part, and opening/closing key. In the second operation unit, there are provided an operation key and a display device. The demonstration key is an input key for giving a command to start a demonstration of the electronic equipment. A display demonstration, in which the display devices are used, and a movable section demonstration, in which the first and the second operation unit are operated, are continuously conducted.

An electronic equipment control system including an electronic equipment body and a remote control terminal for providing an operation instruction to the electronic equipment body. The electronic equipment body has a receiving part for receiving a remote control signal, a movable operation unit for operating the electronic equipment body, a fixed operation unit, and an arranging part for moving the movable operation unit to bring the fixed operation unit into a visually identifiable state. The remote control terminal has input keys for providing the operation instruction, and a sending part for sending operation information input by the input keys.

A silicon single-crystal ingot which is nearly uniform in quality over the entire length of the column portion can be obtained to produce high-quality single-crystal silicon with high product yield and has the bottom column portion having the property close to the properties of the top column portion and the middle column portion. The bottom portion does not vary in shape among product lots and can be reproduced in the same shape. The diameter D2 of the bottom portion 2 is controlled in such a manner that the outer surface of the bottom portion 2a on the column portion side has an inclination angle .theta. of 10 to 25 degrees with respect to the outer surface of the column portion 1 and extends to the outer surface of the column portion.
