A toner having high rub resistance is provided. A toner including a toner particle containing a binder resin and a calcium carbonate particle, wherein in X-ray diffractometry of the toner particle by CuKα radiation, when the Bragg angle is defined as θ, (i) the calcium carbonate particle has peaks at 2θ of 26.5°±0.5° and 29.5°±0.5°, (ii) a crystallite diameter of crystals thereof attributed to 2θ=29.5°±0.5° is 10 nm or more and 45 nm or less, and (iii) the ratio (a/b) of a peak intensity 'a' at 2θ=26.5°±0.5° to a peak intensity “b” at 2θ=29.5°±0.5° is 0.15 or more and 0.24 or less.

Toner

A liquid developer comprising: a toner particle containing binder resin; a carrier liquid; and a basic toner particle dispersing agent, wherein the basic toner particle dispersing agent is a primary amine, an acid value of the binder resin is at least 10 mg KOH/g, an acid value of a component having a molecular weight of not more than 2,000 contained in the binder resin is not more than 5 mg KOH/g, and a hydroxyl value of the component having a molecular weight of not more than 2,000 contained in the binder resin is not more than 10 mg KOH/g.

White toner and method for producing same

A toner comprising a toner particle that contains a hybrid resin A and a crystalline polyester resin B, wherein the hybrid resin A has a polyester segment, and a polypropylene glycol segment that has a number-average molecular weight of at least 300, the polyester segment has a structure derived from a condensation reaction between a dicarboxylic acid and a diol, and has an aromatic ring in at least one of the dicarboxylic acid and the diol, and the following condition is satisfied:||&#x3c;1where, SPh is SP value of the polyester segment of the hybrid resin A, SPc is SP value of the crystalline polyester resin B, and SPp is SP value of the polypropylene glycol segment of the hybrid resin A.

A method for producing a toner includes a step (1) of forming resin microparticles in an aqueous medium in the presence of a surfactant, a step (2) of aggregating the resin microparticles to form aggregated particles, and a step (3) of heating and the aggregated particles and allowing the aggregated particles to coalesce to form toner particles, in which a resin component in the resin microparticles contains an olefinic copolymer and resin A, the resin A has an acid value of 1 mgKOH/g or more and 50 mgKOH/g or less, the resin A has a SP value of 19.0 (J/cm)or more and 21.0 (J/cm)or less, and the resin component has an olefinic copolymer content of 50% by mass or more with respect to the total mass of the resin component.

A toner including: a binder resin containing an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer; a polysiloxane derivative A represented by structural formula 1; and a polysiloxane derivative B represented by structural formula 2: (in structural formula 1, Rto Reach independently represent a methyl group or a phenyl group, and l, m and n each independently represent an integer of at least 1) (in structural formula 2, at least one of Rto Ris an organic group having a Calkyl group, a Calkoxy group, an acrylic group, an amino group, a methacrylic group or a carboxyl group, the remaining groups among Rto Reach independently represent a methyl group or a phenyl group, and p, q and r each independently represent an integer of at least 1).

Toner and method for producing toner

A toner includes a toner particle containing a resin component. The resin component contains an ester group-containing olefin copolymer and an acid group-containing olefin copolymer. For example, the ester group-containing olefin copolymer is an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and the acid group-containing olefin copolymer is an ethylene-methacrylic acid copolymer. The acid group-containing olefin copolymer has an acid value of 50 to 300 mg KOH/g. The content of the ester group-containing olefin copolymer in the resin component is 50 mass % or more based on the total mass of the resin component. The content of the unit derived from the vinyl acetate is 3 mass % or more and 35 mass % or less based on the total mass of the ester group-containing olefin copolymer.

Toner containing toner particles having a resin component, in which the resin component has an olefin-based copolymer and a crystalline polyester resin, the olefin-based copolymer has a unit Y1 represented by Formula (1) and at least one kind of unit Y2 selected from the group consisting of a unit represented by Formula (2) and a unit represented by Formula (3), a content of the olefin-based copolymer contained in the resin component is 50% by mass or more based on a total mass of the resin component, a content of the unit Y2 is 3% by mass or more and 35% by mass or less based on a total mass of the olefin-based copolymer, and a melt flow rate of the olefin-based copolymer is 30 g/10 min or less.
