The liquid crystal display panel sequentially includes: a first polarizing plate; a first substrate; a first alignment film; a liquid crystal layer containing liquid crystal molecules; a second alignment film; a second substrate; and a second polarizing plate. The liquid crystal display panel is a normally black liquid crystal display panel capable of shifting into a transparent display state. The first alignment film and the second alignment film have been subjected to alignment treatment such that a first domain and a second domain in which alignment vectors are different from each other are arranged side by side in a column direction. In a plan view, a liquid crystal alignment axis of the first domain and a liquid crystal alignment axis of the second domain obliquely intersect a polarization axis of the first polarizing plate and a polarization axis of the second polarizing plate and are parallel to each other.

Liquid crystal panel and method of manufacturing thereof

A liquid crystal panel including: a first substrate with a first alignment film; a liquid crystal layer; and a second substrate with a second alignment film. The first and second alignment films are alignment treated such that pixels each include first to fourth domains with different alignment vectors in a column direction, each alignment vector being defined as lying from a first substrate side long-axis end as a start point to a second substrate side long-axis end as an end point. Each pixel electrode has first fine slits parallel to the alignment vector of the second domain in the second domain, second fine slits parallel to the alignment vector of the third domain in the third domain, and a central slit along a boundary between the second domain and the third domain at the boundary. The first fine slits and the second fine slits are connected via the central slit.

Liquid crystal display panel and method for manufacturing liquid crystal display panel

A liquid crystal panel includes: a first substrate including multiple pixel electrodes, and multiple gate lines; a liquid crystal layer; and a second substrate including a common electrode. In at least 30 pixels consecutive in a row direction, arrays of domains are identical. The gate lines extend through a region between rows of the display unit regions. The domains in the display unit region located in an nth row are arranged in an order of a first domain, a second domain, a third domain, and a fourth domain. The first domain and the fourth domain are located between the second domain and the third domain in a domain arrangement order in the display unit region located in an (n+1)th row. [Solution] Each of pixels (P) of a liquid crystal panel () includes a bright subpixel (BS) and a dark subpixel (DS). Occurrence of a stripe pattern peculiar to this plated steel sheet is controlled by morphology control of a Mg-containing oxide film up to solidification of the plating layer or by adding an appropriate amount of Be to the plating bath.

Hot-dip Zn-A1-Mg plated steel sheet good in corrosion resistance and surface appearance and method of producing the same

A hot-dip Zn&mdash;Al&mdash;Mg plated steel sheet good in corrosion resistance and surface appearance that is a hot-dip Zn-base plated steel sheet obtained by forming on a surface of a steel sheet a hot-dip Zn&mdash;Al&mdash;Mg plating layer composed of Al: 4.0-10 wt. %, Mg: 1.0-4.0 wt. % and the balance of Zn and unavoidable impurities, the plating layer having a metallic structure including a primary crystal Al phase or a primary crystal Al phase and a Zn single phase in a matrix of Al/Zn/Zn,Mg ternary eutectic structure. To obtain a plating layer possessing this metallic structure, the cooling rate of the plating layer adhering to a steel strip extracted from a plating bath and the plating bath temperature are appropriately controlled in a continuous hot-dip plating machine and/or appropriate amounts of Ti and B are added to the bath. Occurrence of a stripe pattern peculiar to this plated steel sheet is controlled by morphology control of a Mg-containing oxide film up to solidification of the plating layer or by adding an appropriate amount of Be to the plating bath.
