A needle tube having a needle tip for puncturing skin; a needle hub; and a fluid-draining portion for enabling draining of a medicine. The needle hub includes: a retention part (first member) for retaining the needle tube; an insertion part into which the output portion of a syringe is inserted; and a flange-like skin contact portion that is disposed in a manner so as to cover an area surrounding the needle tube and makes contact with and/or faces the skin when a living body is punctured with the needle tube. The fluid-draining portion is disposed in the skin contact portion of the needle hub and enables a user to drain the medicine that has spilled when removing air and is held in the skin contact portion.

Injection needle assembly and medicine injection device

A method of using a medicine injection device including a syringe filled with a medicine; a needle tube having a needle tip for puncturing the skin; a flange-like skin contact portion that is disposed in a manner so as to cover an area surrounding the needle tube and makes contact with and/or faces the skin when the living body is punctured with the needle tube; and an absorption part that is disposed in the skin contact portion of the needle hub. The method includes removing air from the medicine injection device prior to injection of the medicine, whereby medicine spilled from the needle tip is caught in the skin contact portion; the absorption part absorbing the spilled medicine staying in the skin contact portion; positioning the skin contact portion adjacent the skin; puncturing the skin with the needle tip; and injecting medicine from the needle tip into the skin.

This syringe has an outer tube, a gasket, and a pusher. The pusher is provided with: a tubular holding part which covers at least a part of an outer surface of the outer tube and is movable relative to the outer tube in the longitudinal direction thereof; and a pressure part which is connected with the holding part, is inserted into the outer tube, and moves the gasket to the distal side of the outer tube by distally a movement of the holding part relative to the outer tube. In addition, between the holding part and the outer tube, a guide part is provided which guides the movement of the holding part relative to the outer tube.

Syringe and syringe assembly

A drug administration instrument including a syringe including: a tubular surrounding periphery portion forming a drug chamber configured to store a drug; a discharge part disposed at a first axial end of the surrounding periphery portion; and a flange portion disposed at a second axial end of the surrounding periphery portion; and a sheath member having a tubular shape, surrounding an outer circumference of the surrounding periphery portion of the syringe, and holding the syringe. The sheath member includes a fitting part configured to support at least one of the surrounding periphery portion and the discharge part of the syringe.

A syringe container includes a cylindrical syringe including a distal end portion having a discharge opening for discharging a liquid, a proximal end portion, and a side peripheral section connected to the distal end portion and the proximal end portion; an attachment member configured to be attached to the distal end portion and having an outer radius larger than an outer radius of the side peripheral section; a container body including a bottom portion and a peripheral wall portion extending upward from a periphery of the bottom portion; and a syringe holding section configured to be placed within the peripheral wall portion so as to face the bottom portion.

Syringe storage container

A gasket configured so that a pusher having a male screw thread on the outer periphery of its tip is connected to the gasket through the male screw thread and so that the gasket slides within a syringe outer tube when the pusher is operated in the longitudinal direction. The gasket includes: a gasket body having a hollow section and a female screw thread in the inner peripheral section of the hollow section engaged by the male screw thread; and projections on the outer peripheral section of the gasket body extending circumferentially of the outer peripheral section and axially arranged in spaced relation to each other. When the gasket is not yet inserted into the syringe outer tube, a screw thread located in a portion on the inner side of and in direct proximity to the projection has a smaller height than a screw thread located in the remaining portion.

Gasket and syringe

A liquid injector comprises a contact member comprising a tube body including an opening located at a distal end of the contact member; an inner structure body comprising: a cylindrical main body; and a hollow needle, wherein the inner structure body is movable to (i) a first position at which a needle tip is located proximal of the opening, and (ii) a second position at which the needle tip is located distal of the opening; and a regulating member detachably mounted on the inner structure body, including a fixing portion to be fixed to the contact member at the second position. When the inner structure body moves to the second position from the first position and returns to the first position again, the regulating member is fixed to the contact member with the fixing portion at the second position, separated from the inner structure body, and stays at a position at which the regulating member covers at least part of an area of the opening.

Liquid injector

A drug storage container includes: a first container; a second container that is disposed on the lower end side of the first container; a needle tube for making an internal space of the first container and an internal space of the second container communicate with each other; operating means for performing an operation of bringing the first container closer to the second container; a drug stored in the internal space; and a liquid stored in the internal space. In the drug storage container, with the first container and the second container brought closer to each other by the operating means, the internal space of the first container and the internal space of the second container are made to communicate with each other through the needle tube, and the volume of the internal space of the second container is reduced.

A syringe with which an accurate amount of a liquid can be discharged by a simple operation. The syringeincludes an outer tube, a gasketslidable in the outer tube, a pusheroperable for moving the gasket, and a stopperdisposed to be slidable along the longitudinal direction of the pusher. The stopperis fixed relative to the pusherby the engagement of engaging portions, provided therein, with racksformed on the pusher. When an operating portionis depressed, the fixation condition is released, permitting regulation of the position of the stopperon the pusher. Syringe

A gasket is capable of providing an excellent slidabiity and holding its sealability without applying lubricant and a gasket that can prevent a resin film from being peeled off of a gasket body and prevent the generation of a molding defect such as pinholes. The gasket can be installed slidably in a outer tube of a syringe, including a gasket body and a resin film formed of a material lower in coefficient of friction than a material of the gasket body, which covers at least an outer periphery of the gasket body, in which when a surface roughness of the resin film on the outer tube side is defined as Raand a surface roughness of the resin film on the gasket body side is defined as Ra, a relationship of 1.5 Ra&#x2266;Rais satisfied.

A syringe (and a prefilled syringe) of a structure with ventilation means allowing a pusher to be easily pushed or pulled in use, providing an excellent operability of discharging (injecting) chemicals, making it hard for foreign matter such as dirt and dust to enter into a syringe outer tube when not in use during storage or transporation, capable of assuring, by itself, the sanitation of the syringe outer tube when not in use, and allowed to be shipped without individually packaging the syringe with packaging material, wherein, as more desirable embodiments, the aseptic condition in the outer tube can be surely maintained even if the push and pull operations of the pusher are performed and, even if the pusher is pushed when not in use, a gasket does not move in tip direction and the arrangement of the pusher at the time of shipping can be stably maintained.
