One of the aspects of the present invention is to provide an X-ray apparatus, which includes an X-ray source radiating an X-ray to a target portion of a person being tested, an X-ray detector detecting the X-ray through the target portion, and a moving mechanism supporting the X-ray source and the X-ray detector so as to oppose to each other. It also includes a driving mechanism driving said moving mechanism so as to keep said X-ray source and said X-ray detector opposing to each other with the target portion intervened therebetween, while the X-ray source radiates the X-ray, and a drive change detector for detecting a drive change of the driving mechanism to determine whether the moving mechanism is applied with an external force preventing motion of the moving mechanism. The driving mechanism is terminated to drive the moving mechanism when the drive change detector detects that the moving mechanism is applied with the external force preventing motion of the moving mechanism.

X-ray apparatus

An automatic exposure control method for an image produced on a solid-state image sensing device in which intensity of radiation light irradiated to an object to be examined from a radiation source is feedback controlled. The solid-state image sensing device comprises a picture element producing part where electric charges generated by way of photo-electric conversion when receiving exposure, and a dark current measuring part where a dark current is generated and stored without receiving exposure. The image is produced while performing radiography in a manner that the intensity of radiation light is feedback controlled so as to keep, within a predetermined density range, the amount value which is defined by removing the charge signals stored on a specified pixel element or a specified pixel element column in the dark current measuring part of the image sensing device from the charge signals stored on a specified pixel element or a specified pixel element column in the picture element producing part of the image sensing device.

Automatic exposure control method of image and automatic exposure control system using the method

A scan type digital X-ray imaging apparatus comprising an X-ray generator for emitting X-ray slit beams, an X-ray detector for detecting X-ray transmitted through an object to be examined, and an object fixing means disposed between the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector, for holding the object in an appropriate position for X-ray photography, in which X-ray beam scanning is performed in a manner that the X-ray slit beam is emitted from the X-ray generator for the object while the X-ray generator and the X-ray detector are synchronously moved in the same direction with the object interposed therebetween, thereby producing an X-ray image of the object. In the X-ray imaging apparatus, the scanning speed of the X-ray slit beam is controlled depending on the X-ray transmitted amount through the object to be examined detected by the X-ray detector during the X-ray beam scanning is performed, whereby soft and hard tissues appearing in the X-ray image are amended in each contrast and/or in each density.

Scan type digital X-ray imaging apparatus

To enhance the controllability of input operation of radiographic conditions, allowing to select the desired radiographic mode easily out of multiple radiographic modes. An operation panel 19 is provided in a patient frame 3 which incorporates a chin rest for holding the head of a patient, and this operation panel 19 comprises display means 63 for displaying the radiographic conditions, and input means 64 for entering the radiographic conditions. The input means 64 further comprises plural keys 52, 55 to 61, 66 to 69 for selecting radiographic modes, up and down cursor keys 70, 71 for selecting plural setting conditions corresponding to a selected radiographic mode, and left and right cursor keys 72, 73 for setting parameters of every setting condition. In a display unit 51 of the display means 63, there are display regions 130, 131, 132 for radiographic mode, setting conditions and parameters, respectively.

Radiographic apparatus and supporting device and method for the same

A planigraphic X-ray apparatus comprising a rotation mechanism for rotating a support member which supports an X-ray generator and an X-ray detection surface to rotate the X-ray generator and the X-ray detection surface around a subject, a position adjustment mechanism for setting the position of the rotation center of the support member rotated by the rotation mechanism and a linear movement means for moving the support member in the direction approximately perpendicular to the direction of the X-ray irradiated from the X-ray generator, whereby the X-ray detection surface is driven in the direction opposite to the movement of the linear movement means and the X-ray generator is rotated toward the X-ray detection surface in synchronization with the movement of the linear movement means. The position adjustment mechanism and the rotation mechanism are used only to set the position and direction of the support member with respect to the subject, and planigraphic photographing is possible only by moving the support member using a linear movement means exclusively provided for the support member, thereby facilitating the positioning operation of the support member with respect to a given planigraphic plane, simplifying the control program and making the entire apparatus compact and inexpensive.
