A rotating electrical machine cooling structure such that a cooling medium is supplied by a pump to a stator and rotor of a rotating electrical machine, thereby cooling the stator and rotor, includes a first passage that supplies the cooling medium from the pump to the stator, a second passage that supplies the cooling medium from the pump to the rotor, and a valve that regulates a flow of the cooling medium of the first passage and a flow of the cooling medium of the second passage, wherein a cooling state of the stator and a cooling state of the rotor are controlled by the valve.

A plurality of core blocks that are arranged into an annular shape are inserted into and fixed to a cylindrical frame, and are disposed inside the frame, a bolt passage member that is produced as a solid body and that has a bolt passage aperture that passes through in a longitudinal direction is fixed by welding to an outer circumferential surface of the frame such that the longitudinal direction thereof is oriented in the axial direction of the frame, and a stator is held on the housing by fastening a bolt that is passed through the bolt passage aperture into a fixing portion that is formed on the housing.

Provided is a fixing structure for fixing a wire connection plate including a busbar () having an annular shape, and a wire connection plate holder () for holding the busbar (). The fixing structure includes a frame () having a cylindrical shape, for accommodating the wire connection plate therein, and a sheet metal member () for fixing the wire connection plate. One end of the sheet metal member () is fixed on a flange () of the frame (), and another end of the sheet metal member () presses an end surface of the wire connection plate in an axial direction of the frame (), to thereby fix the wire connection plate. The wire connection plate is fixed by elasticity of the sheet metal member (), and hence the wire connection plate can be held even under application of impact load.

A terminal block is fixed to a frame holding a stator and in phase with the stator whereas a part of an outside wire is fixed to a case. Hence, a bus bar extracted from a connection plate is welded to the terminal block hardly under the influence of a tolerance caused by integration of components and a tolerance of assembly. Even when a load applied from the outside gives rise to a phase difference between the case and the frame, a tolerance can be absorbed by the outside wire. Accordingly, a load applied to a weld portion of the terminal block and the bus bar can be reduced.

A rotary electric machine includes a rotor, a stator having coils wound to surround the rotor, a cylindrical ring member fixedly mounted on the stator by shrinkage fitting, and a frame disposed on the outside of the ring member with a gap created in between. The distance of the gap varies as a result of thermal expansion of the stator and the ring member. An outer surface of the ring member goes into contact with the frame when the stator and the ring member thermally expand, whereby the stator and the ring member are efficiently cooled.

Rotary electric machine

When a fuel injection valve is mounted on an engine, a distance between a core and an armature during non-energization of a coil can be prevented from becoming narrow. The coil is arranged inside the core, and a body is fixedly secured at its one end to an end of the core. A housing is arranged outside the coil with its one end abutting a cylinder head. A cap is arranged at the other end of the housing, and abuts at its side opposite to the housing with a fastening unit. The armature is arranged for reciprocation inside the body, and is magnetically attracted to the magnetized core. A gap is formed between the housing and the body, with the cap and the core being fixed to each other, and upon mounting the valve on the engine, the housing and the fastening unit abut the cylinder head and the cap, respectively.

Fuel injection valve and manufacturing method thereof

An electromagnetic valve of a reduced size capable of suppressing temperature rise of a coil regardless of continuous electrical energization over an extended time while preventing attracting force from lowering includes a coil cooling fluid passage () for communicating a coil cooling fluid sump space () with a controlled pressure region for allowing a fluid to flow into the coil cooling fluid sump space () from the controlled pressure region. The coil cooling fluid passage includes a small-diameter communicating passage portion () provided so as not to exert influence to a hydraulic pressure prevailing in the controlled pressure region.

An electromagnetic valve () which can ensure a predetermined response behavior while sustaining a desired control performance with operation noise being suppressed even after operation over an extended time includes a plunger assembly () having a plunger (), a coil () for driving the plunger (), a fixed core () disposed in a direction in which the plunger () is displaced for attracting the plunger assembly () to a retracted position upon electrical energization of the coil () to thereby hold the plunger at that position, a resilient member () disposed, being compressed, between the plunger () and the fixed core () to resiliently urge the plunger assembly () to an advanced position, and a spacer () interposed between the plunger () and the fixed core (). The spacer () is provided with a protrusion ().

The object of the present invention is to provide an electromagnetic valve for a variable discharge fuel supply apparatus with improved relief property and high-responsiveness, a small electromagnetic valve, reduced electric current consumption and increased responsiveness, wherein the valve seat has a valve seating surface present in a flat surface facing the direction of movement of the valve at substantially right angle, and the valve is provided with a flow path formed within the valve and a substantially ring-shaped flat landing surface that encircles the flow path within the valve and closes the flow path by coming into contact with the valve seating surface. The electromagnetic valve may be made to cause the outside of the valve to serve as a high pressure side and the flow path within the valve, as a low pressure side, and to cause both the landing surface of the valve and the valve seating surface of the valve seat to be in ring-shaped so that the valve and the valve seat come into contact only through the space between the outer boundary of the landing surface of the valve and the inner boundary of the valve seating surface of the valve seat. Further, the flow path may be formed in a place where it passes the vicinity of said electromagnetic solenoids at the downstream section of the valve. In addition, the flow path within the valve may extend piercing the valve to reach as far as the vicinity of the solenoid coils, and may be connected to the fuel flow path that is formed in the space between the valve outer boundary and the valve holder inner boundary and linked to the low pressure side, and the valve seat having the valve seating surface may be a part formed separately from the valve holder instead of the one united to the valve holder.

Electromagnetic valve for variable discharge fuel supply apparatus

The object of the present invention is to provide a high-pressure fuel supply apparatus, in which the durability of the fuel sealing section is improved and additionally the evaluation time is reduced. The high-pressure fuel supply apparatus comprises a piston having a plunger supported slidably within a cylinder and a tappet, a casing for preventing the fuel leaking out of the space between the cylinder and the piston from leaking outside by surrounding substantially the cylinder and the piston, and a sealing means for sealing the space between the casing and the piston, wherein the sealing means is fastened to the casing and brought into a slidable contact with the tappet of the piston. The sealing means may either be brought into slidingly contact with the cylindrical surface of the tappet that is fitted in the plunger or be brought into contact with a columnar tappet that simply abuts against one end of the plunger and is supported by the casing in a way in which it can move axially but it does not move radially. The tappet may be made of ceramics.

High-pressure fuel supply apparatus

There is provided a high pressure fuel supply apparatus including a plunger reciprocating in a sleeve of a high pressure fuel pump so as to form a fuel pressurizing chamber between the plunger and the sleeve, a first plate having a fuel suction port for sucking fuel into the fuel pressurizing chamber and a fuel discharge port for discharging the fuel from the fuel pressurizing chamber, and a suction valve provided in the fuel suction port, the first plate, the suction valve and a flange portion of the sleeve being held between a casing and an end surface of a spring guide constituting the high pressure fuel pump.

High pressure fuel supply apparatus

A high pressure fuel supply apparatus is constituted by a plunger reciprocating in a sleeve of a high pressure fuel pump so as to form a fuel pressurizing chamber between the plunger and the sleeve, a suction valve provided in a fuel suction port for sucking fuel into the fuel pressurizing chamber, and a discharge valve provided in a fuel discharge port for discharging fuel from the fuel pressurizing chamber into a high pressure fuel discharge passageway communicating with an internal combustion engine, the discharge valve reciprocating axially so as to perform an open/close operation, wherein the high pressure fuel supply apparatus further comprises a holder for regulating an axial reciprocating movement of the discharge valve in the open/close operation within a predetermined range.

A high pressure fuel supply apparatus includes a cylinder defining a compression chamber, a piston supported for sliding movement in the cylinder, and a valve communicating with the compression chamber. The valve includes a valve seat having a valve hole formed therein and a reed movable between an open and a closed position to open and close the valve hole. The reed has a head with an outer periphery in surface contact with the valve seat when the reed is in its closed position, and a bulge surrounded by the outer periphery and extending away from the valve hole and disposed on the valve hole when the 0reed is in its closed position.

A variable delivery fuel supply device capable of improving linearity of discharge characteristics with respect to a rotational angle of a cam and reducing abrasion of the cam. The variable delivery fuel supply device comprises: fuel injection valves to respectively for injecting a fuel to cylinders of an internal combustion engine; a delivery pipe for supplying a pressurized fuel to said fuel injection valves to ; and a fuel pump for taking a fuel from a fuel intake passage through an intake valve into a pressurization chamber during an intake stroke, for pressurizing the fuel and for discharging the pressurized fuel through a discharge valve to the delivery pipe during a discharge stroke by reciprocating movement of a plunger in each cylinder from a bottom dead point to a top dead point; wherein the pressure in the pressurization chamber is relieved at a position set to a predetermined value before reaching the top dead point in the course of the discharge stroke in which the plunger of the fuel pump moves from the bottom dead point to the top dead point.

Variable delivery fuel supply device

A variable delivery type fuel supply apparatus capable of suppressing variation of fuel pressure within a delivery pipe and hence variation of fuel quantity injected through fuel injection valves and simplifying a control method therefor.
