An electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a substrate on which an electronic component is mounted, a connector electrically connected to the substrate, and a connector fixing structure. The connector fixing structure includes a pair of notches that are provided facing each other on the substrate in a facing direction; a pair of press fitting plates that are provided on the connector and press-fitted into the respective notches; a positioning rib formed projecting from each of the press fitting plates toward the inside in the facing direction, having a width smaller than the width of the press fitting plates, and brought into contact with the substrate while the press fitting plates are press-fitted into the respective notches; and a deformation acceptable space provided adjacent to the outside of the press fitting plates that are press-fitted into the respective notches, in the facing direction.

Electronic component unit, wire harness, and connector fixing structure

A ventilator waterproofing structure applicable to an electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a projected columnar portion that is formed in a columnar shape and that is projected from a wall body of a casing in a first direction, a notch that is formed on the projected columnar portion in a straight line in a second direction, a step portion provided in the notch on a closed end side, and a closed space surrounded by an inner wall surface of the notch and a step surface of the step portion. A ventilation passage provided with a waterproof ventilation filter has an outside opening that is opened toward a closed space in a third direction in the notch.

Electronic component unit, wire harness, and ventilator waterproofing structure

A waterproof component includes a housing body, a mat seal, mat seal cover, and an elastic ring. The housing body includes an attachment-hole-insertion portion having a mat-seal-accommodating chamber, an abutting portion to abut a first peripheral surface of the attachment hole, a locking claw provided on an insertion tip side of the attachment hole insertion portion, the locking claw to be locked to a second peripheral surface of the attachment hole, and a cover locking portion provided on an insertion tip side of the attachment-hole-insertion portion. The mat seal has an electric wire press-fitting hole. The mat-seal-accommodating chamber accommodates the mat seal. The mat seal cover locks to the cover-locking portion, the mat seal cover interposes the mat seal between the mat seal cover and a bottom wall of the mat-seal-accommodating chamber. The elastic ring is disposed on an outer periphery of the attachment-hole-insertion portion.

Waterproof component with wiring structure

An electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a substrate on which an electronic component is mounted, a connector electrically connected to the substrate, and a connector fixing structure. The connector fixing structure includes a pair of notches that are provided facing each other on ends of the substrate in a long-side direction and that penetrate through the substrate in a plate thickness direction, a pair of press fitting plates that are provided on the connector and that are press-fitted into the respective notches, and a deformation acceptable space that is provided adjacent to each of both sides of the press fitting plates press-fitted into the respective notches in the long-side direction.

A waterproof component includes a housing body, a mat seal, and a mat seal cover. A locking claw of the housing body is inserted in an attachment hole of a wall together with an attachment hole insertion portion and has an elastically deformable support wall and a claw portion formed at a tip of the support wall and protruding outward from an outer surface of the support wall. The mat seal cover includes a protection protrusion configured to prevent displacement of the support wall toward a direction other than a direction of an elastic deformation of the support wall for insertion of the claw portion in the attachment hole.

Waterproof component

A circuit board is sealed and housed in a casing including a base and a cover, a connector housing including a partition wall is mounted on the circuit board, and an electrical connection between the interior and the exterior of the casing is established. A water-repellent filter is fixed to an inner surface of the partition wall, an outer surface portion of the water-repellent filter is opened to atmosphere via the breath ventilation hole, and an atmospheric opening surface thereof is formed such that the atmospheric opening surface being wetted directly with water is avoided by a poured water blocking wall and water barrier walls. A position where the poured water blocking wall is provided is changed by an insert mold in response to the direction of the mounting surface of the base.

Waterproof type control apparatus

A connector includes a housing, a plurality of terminals installed in the housing, and an aligning plate configured to be installed in the housing and having a plurality of positioning holes. The connector is configured to be mounted on a circuit board so that the terminals inserted into the positioning holes are inserted into the through holes of the circuit board. The aligning plate has a first face and a second face on the opposite side of the first face, the second face being opposed to the circuit board during mounting onto the circuit board. The aligning plate has a stepped shape including a plurality of faces being different in position in the mounting direction toward the circuit board on the first face. The aligning plate has a relief section provided on the second face.

Connector

A case configured with a base and a cover watertightly contains a circuit board, and a connector housing having a diaphragm is mounted in the circuit board so that the inside and the outside of the case are electrically connected with each other; an outer ring-shaped circumferential wall is provided on the outer surface of the diaphragm, and a protrusion portion having first and second ventilation holes is provided at the side surface of the outer ring-shaped circumferential wall; one end of each of the first and second ventilation holes communicates with the outer surface portion of a water-repellent filter provided on the inner wall surface of the diaphragm, and the other end thereof communicates with the inside of a recess portion that is situated at a side of a mating connector and fits with the protrusion portion.

Waterproof control apparatus

A connecting structure includes a flat circuit body, a slider that is attached to a vicinity of a distal end portion of the flat circuit body, and a connector which includes a slider containing portion and a terminal arrangement portion. When the slider is connected to the slider containing portion, conductors of the flat circuit body are electrically connected to the connection terminals of the terminal arrangement portion. The slider has a narrow width end portion whose width at the distal end is smaller than width of the flat circuit body so that side edges of the distal end of the flat circuit body are projected from the narrow width end portion. The slider containing portion has a positioning face which contacts with one of the side edges of the distal end of the flat circuit body.

Connecting structure of connector and flat circuit body

An object is to prevent a water-repellent filter, which performs ventilation between the interior and the exterior of a sealed casing and prevents entry of water, from being wetted directly with water. A circuit board is sealed and housed in a casing including a base and a cover, a connector housing including a partition wall is mounted on the circuit board, and an electrical connection between the interior and the exterior of the casing is established. A water-repellent filter is fixed to an inner surface of the partition wall, and an outer surface portion of the water-repellent filter is opened to atmosphere via first and second ventilation holes and first and second connection ventilation holes. Therefore, the water-repellent filter can be avoided from being wetted directly with water.

In a fitting confirmation construction, a lock arm is provided in a housing of a first connector. The lock arm includes a lock wall inclined and disposed at a front end of the lock arm in a direction from the first connector toward the second connector; a deflection space formed at a rear of the lock wall in the direction; and an operation plate disposed on the deflection space. A confirmation opening is provided in a rear wall of the housing, and has a height equal to a height of the deflection space. A lock projection is provided on a second connector to be brought into engagement with the lock wall. A rear end face of the operation plate is exposed to a rear outside of the housing of the first connector through the confirmation opening, only in a state where the lock arm is deflected.

Fitting confirmation construction for connectors

A terminal group includes: a plurality of pin terminals, each pin terminal being formed of a metal wire of a predetermined length and being to be press-fitted and held in each of a plurality of terminal insertion holes of a connector housing. Some of the plurality of pin terminals have different overall lengths. The plurality of pin terminals respectively have a pair of press-fitting supports that protrude from both side edges of each of the plurality of pin terminals in a width direction at the same distant positions from a distal end in an insertion direction, and insertion direction rear end side surfaces of the press-fitting supports receive reaction force with respect to the terminal insertion holes in press-fitting.

Terminal group and connector

A flat cable waterproofing connector includes a flat cable having an insulating covering part where conductor wires are covered with an insulating film, terminals bonded to the conductor wires, and a connector housing engaged with a mating connector so that the terminals are connected to terminals of the mating connector. The flat cable waterproofing connector further includes a resin mold part integrally molded on an end part in a longitudinal direction of the flat cable so as to cover a bonding part between the conductor wires and the terminals, and the resin mold part has a waterproofing mold part for covering the bonding part, and a holding mold part for covering the flat cable at a deeper side in the longitudinal direction of the flat cable than the waterproofing mold part.

When a front end part of an upper surface of a first upper press-fit portion is brought into contact with a boundary part between a first terminal press-fit guiding groove and a second terminal press-fit guiding groove, the position of a rectangular wire terminal is thereafter accurately corrected along the first terminal press-fit guiding groove. That is, a distance from a lower surface of a terminal main body to the upper surface of the first upper press-fit portion coincides with a height from a lower surface of a cavity main part to the upper end of the first terminal press-fit guiding groove. As a result, the first press-fit portion reaches the first terminal press-fit guiding groove and thereafter, the rectangular wire terminal is further press-fitted, and forcibly pressed against the lower surface of the cavity main part.

A connector for a flat cable connecting a connection terminal part of a flat cable to an electronic device includes a housing, a terminal, and a lock member. The housing is fixed to the electronic device and is formed with an insertion part into which a flat cable is inserted and a flat cable accommodation space that continues from the insertion part to an inside of the housing. The terminal is aligned and disposed in the housing, is connected to a wiring terminal provided to the electronic device and is contact-connected to the connection terminal part of the flat cable when the flat cable is inserted into the flat cable accommodation space. The lock member is put on a backside of a surface of the housing facing the electronic device and is formed with a pair of flat cable holding parts engageable with locking holes.
