A sequence data analyzer comprising: a read dictionary preparation unit creating a read sequence dictionary based on a concatenation string, the concatenation string constituted of a pair of a left sequence and a right sequence, which are obtained by sequencing a sample DNA fragment respectively from the left and right ends, and connecting characters connecting these sequences together; and a sample reconstruction unit extracting, as a sample sequence, a string up to a terminal character positioned in the string of a hit position of a query sequence in the read sequence dictionary, and extracting, as a mate sequence, the left sequence or right sequence until the appearance of a terminal character on the side where the hit position doesn't exist in the sample sequence.

The computational cost for a mapping process performed in analyzing genome/exome/transcriptome is reduced by sorting all cyclic permutations or suffixes of all read sequences to allow a search to be performed on the basis of any base sequence as a key. Also performed is computing and storing, for each base position in a genome sequence, the minimum length for uniqueness (MLU) at which a partial sequence starting from the base position becomes unique in the genome. In analysis of variations, a target region is scanned to inspect the number of matching read sequences that contain a partial sequence with a length of MLU and thus estimate the position of a variation, and then, the read sequences are collected at a position where the possibility of a variation having occurred is high to perform comparison analysis of the sequences.

Data analysis device and method therefor

There are provided a receiver and a transmitter-receiver in which an automatic gain control loop is promptly performed and even in the case of a modulated wave having information in its amplitude, wave distortion can be eliminated. A received signal is received by an antenna and is amplified by a power amplifier. The gain of the received signal is attenuated by a variable attenuator in accordance with an output voltage of a holding circuit. After the signal is converted to an intermediate-frequency signal and amplified through a common procedure and detected, a comparator compares an output signal of the detector and a reference voltage V.sub.ref, and obtains a signal indicating whether the output signal exceeds a reference voltage or a differential voltage therebetween. When the output signal or the differential voltage is brought to a positive level, a timing signal generating section generates a timing signal T.sub.m, and the holding circuit holds a detection signal. In the variable attenuator, the signal is attenuated in accordance with the detection signal. Thereafter, output of the detector is integrated in a time constant circuit, and addition of respective outputs of the time constant circuit and the holding circuit is performed in a computing unit.
