A nucleic acid detection sensor comprises a plurality of nucleic acid chain fixed electrodes to which a probe nucleic acid chain is fixed, and a counter electrode which is arranged opposite to the nucleic acid chain fixed electrode, and a current flowing between the counter electrode and the nucleic acid chain fixed electrode.

Nucleic acid detection sensor

An image display system produces a color image by arranging a color shutter capable of time-divisionally switching a plurality of colors to be displayed, in front of a monochrome image display. This image display system comprises: a self-luminous image display part for time-divisionally displaying monochrome images corresponding to three primary colors; and a color display part for time-divisionally coloring and outputting the monochrome images which formed on the side of the light outgoing surface of the self-luminous image display part and which correspond to the three primary colors. The color display part further comprises: a liquid crystal cell driven by carrying out an optical switching on the basis of the inversion between positive and negative polarities; a transparent electrode formed by dividing the liquid crystal cell into a plurality of parts; and a liquid crystal color shutter capable of optionally setting display colors for a plurality of display regions by means of the transparent electrode, the liquid crystal color shutter displaying different display colors for at least two display regions in an optional time in a driving condition.

Image display system and image display methods

An X-ray flat panel detector includes an X-ray photosensitive film which generates signal charges upon being exposed to incident X-rays, pixel electrodes which are arrayed in contact with the X-ray photosensitive film, a bias voltage application unit which applies a bias voltage to the X-ray photosensitive film so as to make the pixel electrodes collect holes or electrons, which serve as the signal charges generated by the X-ray photosensitive film and have a higher mobility, capacitors which are arranged in correspondence with the pixel electrodes and store the charges generated by the X-ray photosensitive film, switching thin-film transistors which are arranged in correspondence with the pixel electrodes and read the charges in the capacitors, scanning lines which supply a control signal to OPEN/CLOSE-control the switching thin-film transistors, and signal lines which are connected to the switching thin-film transistors to read the charges when the switching thin-film transistors are opened.

An X-ray image detector system includes: a plurality of scanning lines; a plurality of signal lines formed so as to intersect the scanning lines; and a plurality of pixel parts, each of which is formed at a corresponding one of the intersections between the scanning lines and the signal lines so as to form an array; each of said pixel parts having an X-ray-to-charge converting part for converting an incident X-ray to an electric charge, a pixel electrode for receiving the electric charge from the X-ray-to-charge converting part, and a switching element which is operated on the basis of a signal of a corresponding one of the scanning lines, one end of the switching element being connected to the pixel electrode, and the other end of the switching element being connected to a corresponding one of the signal lines, wherein the X-ray-to-charge converting part includes at least a first X-ray-to-charge converting film, and a second X-ray-to-charge converting film having a lower resistivity than that of the first X-ray-to-charge converting film. Thus, it is possible to provide an X-ray image detector system capable of detecting an image even if X-ray irradiation is weak.

X-ray image detector system

An image detection device having pixel electrodes arrayed in a matrix in an image detection area on one face of an insulating film. A shield electrode is disposed in the peripheral area on the outside the detection area, and a driving circuit for driving the pixel electrodes and wires connecting the pixel electrodes are provided on the other face of the insulating film. The driving circuit may be provided in the peripheral area. The wires disposed in the peripheral area are shielded by the shield electrode to prevent electrostatic breakdown even when a large current flows through a photoelectric converting film, thereby to improve reliability by preventing dielectric breakdown and to accommodate a large dynamic range of incident light.

Image detection device

An image detecting device has a large dynamic range that deals with a plurality of image detecting modes. The image detecting device is composed of pixels e (i, j) arranged in a matrix array. Each pixel has a photoelectric element. In each pixel, a capacitor,and a protecting diode,are disposed. The capacitor,stores electric charge corresponding to the intensity of penetrated light to the relevant pixel. The protecting diode limits the capacitance. A bias voltage is supplied to the protecting diode,through a bias line Bias. The bias voltage is adjusted by a bias voltage controlling system,corresponding to the frame rate. Thus, the influence of a leak current in the off-state of the protecting diode,can be alleviated against electric charge stored in the capacitor,. Consequently, an image with a high S/N ratio can be obtained regardless of the frame rate.

Image detecting device and an X-ray imaging system

A pixel electrode is connected to a signal line via an n-channel TFT element for writing image signals and the pixel electrode is connected to an auxiliary storage capacitance line via p-channel TFT element for resetting the pixel electrode, wherein gate electrodes of the n-channel and p-channel TFT elements provided in a pixel region are commonly connected to a corresponding scanning line of the pixel region or to the corresponding scanning line and an adjacent scanning line, respectively.

Active matrix type liquid crystal display

An X-ray imaging apparatus utilized in an imaging analysis apparatus that includes plural charge conversion devices for converting irradiated X-rays into electric charge and corresponding plural charge storage devices for storing the converted electric charge. Each charge conversion device and charge storage device represent a pixel in an image and are read by a thin film transistor. A thin film diode is connected to each charge storage device to discharge excessive stored voltage. The thin film diode has a Metal-Insulator-Metal (MIM structure), a Metal Semi-Insulator (MSI structure), or a Back-to-Back (BTB structure).

X-ray imaging apparatus and X-ray imaging analysis apparatus

It is an object of this invention to provide an active matrix type liquid crystal display which uses a ferroelectric liquid crystal or antiferroelectric liquid crystal, which has a high response speed, a wide angle of field, and a high contrast, and which does not cause a 'step response' phenomenon. An active matrix type liquid crystal display according to this invention includes pixel electrodes arranged in a matrix form, first switching devices arranged in a one-to-one correspondence with the pixel electrodes, signal lines for transmitting an image signal to the pixel electrodes via the first switching devices, scanning lines arranged to cross the signal lines to transmit a scanning signal for turning on the first switching devices, storage capacitance lines arranged parallel to the scanning lines to form storage capacitances between the storage capacitance lines and the pixel electrodes, and second switching devices arranged in a one-to-one correspondence with the pixel electrodes to connect pixel electrodes assigned to one scanning line to a storage capacitance line, while another scanning line is being selected, thereby resetting the pixel electrodes.

An active-matrix type liquid-crystal display comprising a matrix display panel including a glass substrate, pixel electrodes formed on the substrate, signal lines formed on the substrate, gate lines formed on the substrate, and switching elements formed on the substrate, signal-line drive ICs for applying signal voltages to the signal lines, and gate-line drive ICs for driving the switching elements. The display further comprises power-supply potential control circuits for changing the first and second power-supply potentials (VDD, VSS) of the signal-line drive ICs, each by a predetermined value, in accordance with the signal voltages to be applied to the pixel electrodes.

Reflection type liquid crystal display device capable of color display

A display device is composed of a liquid crystal display panel, having modulating characteristics in which a relationship between a transmittance and a drive voltage depends on the direction of a change in the drive voltage, for modulating source light in a two-dimensional area, and a processing channel for applying a drive voltage according to each of pixel signals which change for each 1-field period. Particularly, the processing channel includes a field memory for delaying transmittance data corresponding to the pixel signal by the 1-field period, and a characteristic compensating circuit for converting the transmittance data to a drive voltage data on the basis of conversion characteristics which vary with the data delayed by the field memory, and determining the drive voltage according to the drive voltage data.
