A separation unit is a configuration that is arranged vertically, and thus bubbles generating from the electrode will not negatively influence the contact location between the transfer membrane and separation unit. An anode () is arranged at a position separated by a certain distance in the conveying direction (X) of the transfer membrane () from the dispensing part () of an electrophoresis gel chip (). An insulating electrode cover () for setting free bubbles generating from the anode () is arranged at an upper part of the anode ().

Biomolecule analyzer

A biomolecule analyzer () includes an arm part (-) retaining a transfer membrane () that is arranged at a position opposing a first opening (), and a drive unit (-) that is provided below an anode buffer tank (), and drives the arm part in a substantially horizontal direction, in which the arm part passes along outer sides of side walls of the anode buffer tank (), wraps around upper ends of the side walls and links at inner walls of the side wall.
