Provided is a composite material that shows a low specific dielectric constant, and that hardly causes an appearance failure or changes in characteristics when exposed to, for example, a treatment liquid to be used in the production of an electronic circuit board. Specifically, a plate-like composite material including polytetrafluoroethylene and a predetermined filler, and satisfying a predetermined condition serves as a composite material that shows a low specific dielectric constant, and that hardly causes an appearance failure or changes in characteristics even when exposed to, for example, a treatment liquid to be used in the production of an electronic circuit board.

A ventilation unit with: a ventilation body that allows gas to circulate between the outside and inside of a housing; a support member that supports the body attached to an opening portion formed in the housing; and a sealing member between the support member and the outer surface around the housing opening portion and seals a gap between the support member and the housing, wherein the unit performs ventilation between the outside and inside of the housing through the body while attached to the opening portion of the housing. The support member includes: an attachment portion to which the sealing member is attached; and a wall portion around the attachment portion, wherein, in a state where the support member is attached between the support member and the housing, a distance between the support member and an external surface in the support member wall portion is 5.0 mm or more.

Ventilation unit

Provided is an internal pressure adjustment member to be attached to an outer surface of a housing, the member having high air permeability even when a differential pressure that can be generated between the inside and the outside of a housing to which the internal pressure adjustment member is attached is small, and inhibiting damage to the member and a reduction in the air permeability of the member due to coming soil and mud. The internal pressure adjustment member includes: a filter portion including a net-like or mesh-like support layer and first and second porous polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membranes laminated on the support layer such that the support layer is interposed therebetween, the first porous PTFE membrane being exposed on one surface of the filter portion, the second porous PTFE membrane being exposed on another surface of the filter portion; and an adhesive portion, formed on the one surface of the filter portion, for attaching the filter portion to the outer surface of the housing. The first porous PTFE membrane and the second porous PTFE membrane each have an average pore diameter of 2.0 &#x3bc;m or more, the filter portion has a thickness of 140 &#x3bc;m or less, and the filter portion has a density of 0.60 g/cmor less.

Infernal pressure adjustment member and electrical component for transport equipment

A plate-like composite material in which peeling of a conductor layer and the like serving as wiring is less liable to occur is provided. The plate-like composite material includes: a pore-containing layer, which contains a fluororesin and a filler, and which contains pores; and a resin layer containing a fluororesin bonded to one surface, or each of both surfaces, of the pore-containing layer, wherein the pore-containing layer includes, in a vicinity of an interface with the resin layer, a high resin content region, which contains the fluororesin in a content higher than a content in a remaining region of the pore-containing layer, and which contains the pores in a content lower than a content in the remaining region, and wherein the high resin content region has a thickness starting from the interface of from 0.20 &#x3bc;m to 10 &#x3bc;m.

Plate-like composite material

A ventilation structure includes a metal housing and a ventilation member. The metal housing is a housing that requires ventilation, and has a ventilation hole and a hole-surrounding portion. The ventilation hole is covered by the ventilation member. The hole-surrounding portion defining the periphery of the ventilation hole has been subjected to an alumite treatment, a treatment for forming a chemical conversion coating formed by a trivalent chromium compound, a chromium-plating-on-aluminum treatment, or an oil-repellent treatment.

A housing kit () includes a housing body () and a ventilation member (). The housing body () has a vent hole (). The ventilation member () has a leg portion (). The leg portion () is a portion adapted to be inserted into the vent hole (). The housing body () has an inner peripheral surface () that defines the vent hole (). The inner peripheral surface () includes a first rounded segment (), a first straight segment (), a second rounded segment (), and a second straight segment () that are formed in order from an exterior space () side to an interior space () side of the housing body (). The first rounded segment () and the second rounded segment () each form a curve convex toward a central axis (O) of the vent hole () in a cross section of the housing body () including the central axis (O). The first straight segment () and the second straight segment () each form a straight line in this cross section.

Housing kit and ventilation housing

To obtain an insulating resin material serving as a material achieving both an excellent low specific dielectric constant and an excellent low linear thermal expansion coefficient, which has heretofore been difficult to obtain, and a metal layer-equipped insulating resin material and a wiring substrate each using the insulating resin material, provided is an insulating resin material, including: porous inorganic aggregates each having pores defined by a plurality of fine particles; and fibrils formed of polytetrafluoroethylene, wherein the fibrils are each multidirectionally oriented, wherein at least one of the porous inorganic aggregates and the fibrils are connected to each other, and wherein the insulating resin material is formed of a micro network structure having a porosity of 50% or more.

Insulating resin material, metal layer-equipped insulating resin material using same, and wiring substrate

The present invention provides a ventilation member attachable to a housing having an opening for ventilation. This ventilation member includes: a support including: a base portion adapted to form an air passage between an interior space and an exterior space of the housing; and a leg portion extending from the base portion and adapted to be fitted into the opening; an air-permeable membrane disposed on the support to cover the air passage; and a sealing member made of a resin and placed at a root of the leg portion of the support. This sealing member has a compression set of 10% or less when measured under conditions of a test temperature of 100&#xb0; C. and a test time of 100 hours in accordance with JIS K 6262. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a ventilation member suitable for preventing water from entering a housing even during a high-pressure car wash test using high-temperature water.

Ventilation member

The ventilation member of the present invention includes: a support; and an air-permeable membrane disposed on the support. The support includes: a base portion supporting the air-permeable membrane; and a leg portion extending from the base portion toward the interior space of a housing and adapted to fix the ventilation member to the opening of the housing. The leg portion includes: insertion portions separated from each other in a circumferential direction by slits formed between the insertion portions in an insertion start side of the leg portion, the insertion portions being adapted to be elastically deformed radially inwardly when the insertion portions are inserted into the opening and then to be fixed to the opening; and receding portions in the insertion portions. In a region between an edge of an inner circumferential surface of the insertion portion and an edge of an outer circumferential surface of the insertion portion at a root of the insertion portion, the receding portion recedes from an imaginary circumferential end surface in a direction away from the slit and recedes from an imaginary inner circumferential surface toward the outer circumferential surface, when the imaginary circumferential end surface is defined as an imaginary end surface including a central axis of the support and a first reference line parallel to the central axis and passing through the edge of the outer circumferential surface and the imaginary inner circumferential surface is defined as an imaginary surface extending in the circumferential direction from the edge of the inner circumferential surface toward the slit.

A ventilation unit (A) includes: a ventilation member () configured to be attached to an opening () of a housing (), the ventilation member () including a water-proof gas-permeable membrane () for covering the opening (); a sealing member () configured to seal a gap between the housing () and the ventilation member (); and an annular partition wall member (A) defining an inner space in which the ventilation member () is fitted. The partition wall member (A) is configured to keep in contact with the housing (), and blocks a clearance formed outside the sealing member () and between a peripheral portion of the ventilation member () and the housing () when the ventilation member () is attached to the opening () of the housing ().

A ventilation unit () includes: a ventilation member () configured to be attached to an opening () of a housing (), the ventilation member () including a water-proof gas-permeable membrane () for covering the opening (); a sealing member () configured to seal a gap between the housing () and the ventilation member (); and a washer () configured to be pressed against the housing () by the ventilation member () around the sealing member (). The washer () blocks a clearance formed outside the sealing member () and between a peripheral portion of the ventilation member () and the housing () when the ventilation member () is attached to the opening () of the housing ().

The ventilation member of the present invention includes: a support; and an air-permeable membrane disposed on the support. The support includes: a base portion supporting the air-permeable membrane; and a leg portion extending from the base portion toward the interior space of a housing and adapted to fix the ventilation member to the opening of the housing. The leg portion includes: insertion portions separated from each other in a circumferential direction by slits formed between the insertion portions, the insertion portions being adapted to be elastically deformed radially inwardly when the insertion portions are inserted into the opening and then to be fixed to the opening; and rounded portions each formed in a region between an inner circumferential surface of the insertion portion and a circumferential end surface of the insertion portion at a root of the insertion portion and having a rounded convex surface.
