A board-to-board connector is disclosed. The connector comprises first and second connectors. The first connector has a first housing, a first terminal fitted therein, and is configured to be surface-mounted on a top surface of a first board. A fitting face thereof extends in a direction intersecting the top surface of the first board. The second connector has a second housing, a second terminal fitted therein and configured to make contact with the first terminal, and is configured to be surface-mounted on a top surface of a second board engaged with the first connector. A fitting face thereof extends in a direction intersecting the top surface of the second board. Either the first or second housing is provided with an insulating distance-procuring portion configured to protrude from a surface thereof and capable of procuring an insulating distance of the first or second terminal.

Board-to-board connector

In a connector according to the Present Disclosure, a cable inserted into an insertion hole is inserted into a through-hole of a metal fitting contained in a support groove. The metal fitting contained in the support groove plastically deforms such that the size of the through-hole decreases when it is compressed in the depth direction of the support groove.

Connector

A wire to board connector assembly includes mating first and second connectors. The board (second) connector is configured for surface mounting to a circuit board and contains a plurality of surface mount terminals with a pair of contact arms defining a mating slot therebetween. The other, mating (first) connector includes a plurality of box-style terminals that are supported and restrained in place within a first connector housing. Projections are dispose in the first connector housing and extend lengthwise along the direction of the terminals and provide support for the terminals. Locking members are formed as part of the first housing and reliably engage the second housing.

Wire-to-board connector and wire connector

A loop connector comprises first and second connectors. The first connector has a first housing and a pair of first terminals, is configured to be surface-mounted on a top surface of a board, and has a fitting face thereof extending in a direction intersecting the top surface of the board. The second connector has a second housing and a second terminal configured to contact one of the first terminals, is configured to engage the first connector, and has a fitting face thereof extending in a direction intersecting an extending direction of the second terminal. The second housing is provided with a second terminal accommodation-concave portion. The second terminal is provided with a pair of terminal bodies and a connecting portion to connect thereto, the terminal bodies being perpendicular to the connecting portion when the second terminal is press-fit into the second terminal accommodation-concave portion.

Loop connector and closed-circuit forming connector

Provided is a relay connectorfor establishing connection between motors each having a pair of motor terminals provided to a back plate, and for supplying power supplied from external terminals to the respective motor terminals. The relay connectorincludes: a motor connecting surfacehaving a first relay terminalthat connects to the motor terminals of each motor; an external connector connecting surfacethat is continuous to the motor connecting surfaceand has in its bonding surface a second relay terminalthat connects to L-shaped terminals; and a housinghaving the motor connecting surfaceand the external connector connecting surfacein its end surfaces. Relay connector

An electrical terminal is provided for mating with a blade-like mating terminal. The electrical terminal includes a base having a front mating end and a rear terminating end. A spring arm is folded rearwardly over the base from the front mating end thereof to a rear bowed end of the spring arm. A contact arm is folded back forwardly from the rear bowed end beneath the spring arm above the base and spaced therefrom for receiving the blade-like mating terminal inserted between the contact arm and the base. A sharp edge is formed on the contact arm facing the rear terminating end of the base and engageable with the blade-like mating terminal to resist unmating of the terminals.
