To provide a motorcycle in which a distinction between a main harness and ABS pipes can be easily made to enhance flexibility of packaging design of the motorcycle and to facilitate operations for assembly and piping, thereby improving productivity of the motorcycle. Motorcycle

A motorcycle wherein an attachment angle of a tail light bulb is increased to reduce a distance between a seat and a tail light unit, to improve the flexibility of a short tail design around a tail light of a motorcycle. The motorcycle includes a rear cowl attached to a rear part of a vehicle body frame, a seat catch arranged on a rear end portion of the vehicle body frame and configured to lock and to unlock an openable/closable seat, a tail light unit arranged behind the seat catch and attached to the rear cowl, a tail light bulb attached to the tail light unit in a forward-tilted state, and a rear fender covering an upper part of a rear wheel WR. An opening that allows access to the tail light bulb is formed at a portion of the rear fender facing the tail light bulb.

A braking device of a saddle-ride type vehicle that can reduce a load acting on a joint is provided. A jointat a front-wheel brake output side which connects a metal pipe and a flexible brake hose is mounted on a body framevia a mount rubberunder a floating state.

A non-uniform load is prevented from acting on a cross member to reduce the weight of the cross member in a saddled vehicle. In the saddled vehicle has a vehicle body framefor suspending an engine, a swing armfor suspending a rear wheel WR freely swingably, pivot portionswhich are formed as a right-and-left pair, constitute a part of the vehicle body frameand pivotably support the swing arm, a lower cross memberfor joining the pivot portions, a rear cushionfor applying elastic force to the swing arm, a link mechanismfor joining the lower endA of the rear cushion, the swing armand the pivot portions, a link joint staywhich is formed at the rear side of the lower cross memberand joins the link mechanism, and a lower hungerthat is formed at the front side of the lower cross memberand fixes the engine, the link joint stayand the lower hungerare formed at the same position with respect to the vehicle width direction.

Saddled vehicle

An air cleaner case whereby a seat height can be reduced and the air cleaner case can be disposed in proximity to an engine. In a two-wheeled motor vehicle having a vehicle body frame, a fuel tank disposed at a front upper side of the vehicle body frame, a seat disposed behind the fuel tank and above the vehicle body frame, an engine suspended between the lower side of the fuel tank and the lower side of the vehicle body frame, an air cleaner case, a plate-like element disposed in the air cleaner case, and a maintenance lid used when the plate-like element is mounted/dismounted, the air cleaner case is disposed below the fuel tank, the plate-like element is disposed to be tilted rearward and upward in side view of the vehicle, and the maintenance lid is provided below the seat so as to face the seat.

Two-wheeled motor vehicle

A saddle-ride type vehicle with a swing arm swingably supported on a body frame. A shock absorber is connected to the body frame and the swing arm for applying a damping force. A shock absorber support member is suspended to the body frame in a vehicle width direction for supporting an upper end of the shock absorber. The shock absorber is supported on a central portion in the vehicle width direction of the shock absorber support member. The central portion in the vehicle width direction of the shock absorber support member is formed in a U-shape that is open at a lower side in a cross section taken along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. An upper surface and a lower surface of the shock absorber support member are curved wherein a central portion lies above the end portion in the vehicle width direction.
