An analyzer that analyzes one or more pieces of data acquired by electrophoresis separation of a sample includes a memory, a display unit, and a processor. The memory stores the one or more pieces of data. The display unit displays, based on the one or more pieces of data, a gel image, an electropherogram, a first size guide corresponding to the gel image, and a second size guide corresponding to the electropherogram. When the first size guide is located at a first position corresponding to a specific value associated with a size in the gel image, the processor displays a second size guide at a second position corresponding to the specific value in the electropherogram.

Analyzer and display method

An electrophoresis system includes an electrophoresis device including a measurement unit that measures a measurement target separated by electrophoresis, and a current detection unit that detects a current flowing through the flow path. Moreover, the electrophoresis system is configured to display each of a time-series value of a measurement value of the measurement target measured by the measurement unit and a time-series value of a current detection value of the current detected by the current detection unit on a display unit during measurement of the measurement target.

Provided is a data processing device for processing data acquired by an electrophoretic analysis. A graph creator () creates an electropherogram and/or a separation image of peaks on an electrophoretic channel. A display processor () displays a graph showing the electropherogram and/or the separation image on which a boundary line is drawn to define the inside and the outside of an analysis target range extending along an axis of a separation direction, with the inside and the outside being shown in different visual modes. An analysis condition setter () receives an operation by a user for moving the boundary line on the graph displayed and sets the analysis target range whose position and size on the axis are changed according to the received operation. A sample setting section in which at least one sample to be subjected to electrophoresis analysis and at least one standard sample are set, and a controller. The controller includes a standard data storage memory that stores standard data obtained by performing electrophoresis analysis of a standard sample under a predetermined condition, and a chip determination part configured to perform electrophoresis analysis of the standard sample under the predetermined condition using each of the at least one microchip before electrophoresis analysis of the sample set in the sample setting section is performed to acquire analysis data on the standard sample by the detector, and to perform a chip determination as to whether a state of each of the at least one microchip is suitable for performing electrophoresis analysis by comparing the acquired analysis data with the standard data on the standard sample.

In order to improve the operability of the device and reduce incorrect operations, a device for processing data acquired by an electrophoretic analysis according to the present invention includes: a display processor () configured to create an electropherogram based on acquired data and display the electropherogram on a screen of a display section (); an analysis range specifier () configured to receive, on the electropherogram displayed on the display section, a specification, by a user, of a smear range to be extracted as an analysis target, and display a background area corresponding to the specified smear range on the electropherogram, in a visual mode that makes the background area distinguishable from other background areas; and an analysis processor () configured to perform a predetermined smear analysis using data included in the specified smear area.

An analyzer includes a separation data holding part, a determination criterion holding part, and a component peak determination part. The separation data holding part retains, as reference data, separation data obtained by an electrophoresis analysis for a reference sample including a reference component which is a known component and retains, as data to be analyzed, separation data obtained by an electrophoresis analysis for a sample to be analyzed. The determination criterion holding part retains a determination criterion for determining whether a component peak in the reference data and a component peak in the data to be analyzed are identical. The component peak determination part is configured to determine whether the component peak in the reference data and the component peak in the data to be analyzed are identical to each other, using the determination criterion.
