An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate, in or on which a feed element is formed, a dielectric substrate, in which a ground electrode (GND) is formed, and conductive members. The dielectric substrate is disposed opposite the dielectric substrate. When viewed in plan in the direction normal to the feed element, the conductive members are disposed around the feed element. An air layer is formed between the dielectric substrate and the dielectric substrate. The conductive members are formed in the air layer.

Antenna module and communication device including the same

An antenna module includes a main substrate and a plurality of sub-array antennas. Each sub-array antenna includes a sub-substrate and a plurality of antenna elements. Each antenna element includes a parasitic element arranged on an upper surface of the sub-substrate, and a feeding element arranged in a layer between the upper surface and a lower surface of the sub-substrate. When a wavelength of a radio wave in free space is λ, a distance between a plane center of the antenna element arranged at a position adjacent to an end surface of the sub-substrate and the end surface is equal to or greater than λ/9, and equal to or less than half a distance (P) between respective centers of two of the antenna elements adjacent to each other in each sub-array antenna.

An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate having a multilayer structure, a radiating element, a feed wiring, a filter device, and a ground electrode. The dielectric substrate has a first main surface and a second main surface. The radiating element is formed on the first main surface of the dielectric substrate or in an inner layer than the first main surface. The feed wiring transmits a radio frequency signal to the radiating element. The filter device is arranged on the feed wiring. The ground electrode faces the radiating element and is arranged in a layer between the radiating element and the filter device. A recess is formed in the second main surface of the dielectric substrate. The filter device is arranged at a position that does not overlap with the recess when viewed in a plan view from a normal direction of the dielectric substrate.

Antenna module, communication device mounting the same, and circuit board

An antenna module includes a dielectric substrate, a plurality of antenna elements, and an RFIC having a plurality of power supply terminals configured to supply power to each of the plurality of antenna elements via a power supply line. The plurality of antenna elements include a first antenna element and a second antenna element disposed along a first direction connecting two points within a region, the first antenna element is located on the side of a center of the region relative to the second antenna element, and the number of antenna elements to which power is supplied by a power supply line for supplying power to the first antenna element is smaller than the number of antenna elements to which power is supplied by a power supply line for supplying power to the second antenna element.
