The hermetic compressor has grooves provided at an upper side and a lower side of outer circumference of a piston. Of outer shape of the grooves, the outer shape of the grooves communicating with a space in the hermetic container at least when the piston is in a bottom dead center is a shape not forming parallel line to an axial center of the piston when the grooves are developed in a plane.

Hermetic compressor

A hermetic compressor has a bipolar permanent magnet motor where permanent magnet is disposed in rotor core. A hollow bore is disposed at the end on the compressing element side of the rotor core, and main bearing extends into the bore. The thickness of the rotor core is longer than that of the stator core, thereby widening the magnetic path of the rotor core. The magnetic flux amount generated in the rotor core, which is conventionally insufficient due to existence of the bore, increases, the loss decreases, and the efficiency increases.

A hermetic-type compressor according to the present invention has a viscous pump part by combining a spiral groove formed on the outer periphery of a main shaft with the inner periphery of a main shaft bearing, and at least one sliding section being in a sliding engagement with the main shaft bearing and at least one non-contact sliding-section having a predetermined gap with the main shaft bearing are formed on the face at the outer periphery of the main shaft opposing to the main shaft bearing where the lower end of the groove is located at the non-contact sliding-section.

Hermetic-type compressor

A refrigerant compressor includes a compressor section, driver, a first contact section and a second contact section. The compressor section is accommodated in a closed container for compressing refrigerant gas. The driver drives the compressor section. The first and second contact sections are brought into contact with each other or they slide with each other by driving the compressor section. On the surface of each one of the contact sections, at least one of plural recesses uniformly placed or a mixed layer, to which molybdenum disulfide (MoS) is bound, is formed. The foregoing structure allows increasing the abrasion resistance of the first and second contact sections.
