A fuel cell stack includes a stack body formed by stacking a plurality of power generation cells together in a stacking direction, the power generation cells each having a separator, and a pair of end plates provided at both ends of the stack body in the stacking direction. Further, the fuel cell stack includes a support bar extending between the pair of end plates in the stacking direction and configured to engage with an outer peripheral portion of the separator. The width of the support bar is decreased gradually from one end and the other end toward a central portion in an extension direction in which the support bar extends.

A fuel cell stack includes a plurality of power generation cells and a stack case. A tab protrudes from an outer marginal portion of each of the power generation cells. The stack case contains the plurality of power generation cells that are stacked together in a stacking direction, and includes a pair of end plates provided at both ends of the power generation cells in the stacking direction. Further, the fuel cell stack includes a support bar extending inside the stack case in the stacking direction, and including a recess capable of accommodating the tab. One end of the support bar is joined to one of the end plates, and the other end of the support bar is supported by the other of the end plates.

Fuel cell stack

An outer surface of an upper wall of a stack case of a fuel cell system provided in a fuel cell vehicle includes a first outer surface, a second outer surface which is positioned closer than the first outer surface to a cell stack body, and an outer surface coupling part. Space is formed between a first upper wall of the upper wall and the cell stack body. Tabs and bus bars are disposed in the space.

Fuel cell system and fuel cell vehicle

A fuel cell stack includes a load receiver provided in a first separator, and a contact portion. The load receiver includes a protrusion protruding outward from an outer peripheral portion of the first separator. The protrusion includes a protrusion body positioned at the center in a width direction of the protrusion, and a pair of expansions expanded in the width direction from both ends of the protrusion body in the width direction. When the load receiver contacts the contact portion, only a top portion of the expansion contacts the contact portion.

A permanent magnet is expressed by a composition formula: RFeMCuCo. M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Zr, Ti, and Hf. The magnet includes a crystal grain having a main phase including a TbCucrystal phase, and a volume ratio of the TbCucrystal phase to the main phase is 95% or more.

Fuel cell system

A manufacturing method includes providing a cell stack including fuel cells and has a first end and a second end. A first end plate is provided at the first end of the cell stack. The first end plate has a first end plate through hole. A second end plate is provided at the second end of the cell stack. A connecting member is provided to connect the first end plate and the second end plate. A first knock is inserted into the first end plate through hole and into a first connecting member installing hole. A first seal is located between the first knock and the first end plate in the first end plate through hole. The first end plate is moved in the stacking direction to contact the connecting member. A fastening member is inserted into the first knock.

Manufacturing method of fuel cell stack

An exhaust apparatus for discharging exhaust gas from a stack case housing a fuel cell stack includes an exhaust duct in communication with an exhaust port of a vehicle and the stack case and a filter case provided to the exhaust duct and housing a filter. A curved exhaust flow path in which a flow path curves at a plurality of locations is provided in the filter case.

A separator supporting structure includes a metal lug provided on a separator, a set of protrusions that protrude from an inner surface of a metal casing toward the separator to form a recess into which the lug is inserted, a first insulating portion covering the lug at least in the recess, and a second insulating portion extending from the first insulating portion and between the separator and each of the protrusions.

A fuel cell stack includes unit cells, a resin load receiver, and a connecting member. The resin load receiver is provided in each of a first and second separators. The resin load receiver has a projecting portion that projects outwardly from an outer peripheral edge of each of the first and second separators and that has a projecting portion lateral face. The connecting member includes an engagement portion engaged with the resin load receiver and having a depressed portion into which the projecting portion is inserted and which has a depressed portion lateral face facing the projecting portion lateral face. A distance between the projecting portion lateral face and the depressed portion lateral face at a root portion of the projecting portion is smaller than a distance between the projecting portion lateral face and the depressed portion lateral face at an end of the projecting portion.
