Provided is a thermoplastic polyester resin composition comprising 100 parts by weight of (A) a non-liquid crystal thermoplastic polyester resin, 45 to 150 parts by weight of (B) a thermoplastic resin that is different from the non-liquid crystal thermoplastic polyester resin and has a dielectric loss tangent of not more than 0.005 when measured at a frequency of 5.8 GHz by the cavity resonance perturbation method, 2 to 20 parts by weight of (C) a compatibilizer having at least one reactive functional group selected from epoxy, acid anhydride, oxazoline, isocyanate, and carbodiimide groups, and 0.2 to 5 parts by weight of (D) at least one compound selected from tertiary amines, amidine compounds, organic phosphines and salts thereof, imidazoles, and boron compounds, wherein the ratio of the sum of the thermoplastic resin (B) and the compatibilizer (C) is in the range of 50 to 150 parts by weight and the weight ratio (B)/(C) of the thermoplastic resin (B) to the compatibilizer (C) is in the range of 8 to 50. The thermoplastic polyester resin composition can be molded into an article with low dielectric properties, excellent mechanical properties, and high bondability to metals.

A thermoplastic resin composition comprising a graft copolymer (I) which is produced by carrying out the graft polymerization of a monomer mixture (B) comprising an aromatic vinyl monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer in the presence of an acrylic rubbery polymer (A) and a vinyl copolymer (II) which is produced by carrying out the copolymerization of an aromatic vinyl monomer with a vinyl cyanide monomer, wherein the ratio of the content of the former copolymer to that of the latter copolymer is (30 to 70 parts by weight):(70 to 30 parts by weight), the graft copolymer (I) has such a property that the ratio (i.e., (&#x3b1;)/(&#x3b2;)) of the gel swelling degree (&#x3b1;) of the acrylic rubbery polymer (A) in toluene to the grafting ratio (&#x3b2;) of the graft copolymer (I) is 0.4 to 2.0, and the thermoplastic resin composition has such a structure that particles of the graft copolymer (I) are aggregated in the thermoplastic resin composition. From the thermoplastic resin composition, a molded article having excellent fluidability, weather resistance and impact resistance can be produced.

A natural rubber-containing thermoplastic resin composition includes a graft copolymer (A) obtained by graft-polymerizing a vinyl monomer mixture (a) including at least an aromatic vinyl monomer to a rubbery polymer (R) composed of 10 to 70% by mass of a natural rubber having a weight average particle size of 0.3 to 1.2 &#x3bc;m and 30 to 90% by mass of a synthetic rubber having a weight-average particle size of 0.2 to 0.4 &#x3bc;m, wherein particles of the natural rubber include not less than 5% by mass of natural rubber articles with a size of 1.0 &#x3bc;m or larger; and particles of the rubbery polymer (R) with a size of 1.0 &#x3bc;m or larger have an internal graft ratio of 20% or higher.

A flame-retardant styrene thermoplastic resin composition including 6 to 15 parts by weight of a phosphoric acid ester flame retardant (II) and 0.1 to 3 parts by weight of an aromatic carbonate oligomer (III) having a viscosity average molecular weight [Mv] of 1,000 to 10,000 with respect to 100 parts by weight of a styrene resin (I), and molded products thereof have excellent flame retardancy, mechanical properties and moldability.
