A display device includes a display panel and a touch panel, wherein the display panel has a light-emitting layer, a first electrode, and a second electrode, the touch panel has a first touch electrode, and a second touch electrode that is driven by a driving signal for detecting a touch in response to a change in mutual capacitance between the first touch electrode and second touch electrode, and the display device further includes a shield electrode formed between the first electrode and touch panel to be applied with a shield-electrode signal.

Display device

Provided is a touch-panel-integrated display device in which influences of noises due to voltages of data lines can be reduced, or noise correction can be easily performed. A touch-panel-integrated display deviceincludes a display panel that has a display area that includes a plurality of pixels defined by a plurality of gate linesand a plurality of data lines. In the display area, a plurality of electrodes, and a plurality of linesconnected with the electrodes, are provided. A predetermined voltage is applied to each lineevery fixed time period, and changes in the capacitance at each electrodeare detected. To each data line, a voltage having a polarity different from that for an adjacent one of the data linesis applied. Each of the electrodesis connected with at least one of the plurality of lines. The at least one of the linesis arranged in the vicinity of a plurality of the data linesto which voltages having different polarities are applied, or alternatively, arranged in the vicinity of one of the data linesto which a voltage having the same polarity as that of a voltage applied to the data linearranged in the vicinity of another lineis applied.

Touch-panel-integrated display device

A liquid crystal display deviceincludes a backlight deviceexiting light, a liquid crystal paneldisposed on a light exit side with respect to the backlight device, a first conductive layer, and a conductive bonding member. The liquid crystal panelincludes an array substrate, a CF substrateoverlapping the array substrateon an opposite side from the backlight deviceside, and a first polarizing platedisposed on the backlight deviceside with respect to the array substrate. The first conductive layeris disposed on a plate surface of one of the array substrateand the first polarizing plate. The conductive bonding memberis electrically connected to the first conductive layerto bond the backlight deviceand the liquid crystal paneland connected to ground.

A touch panel () includes: a glass substrate (); X-direction electrodes and Y-direction electrodes () provided above the glass substrate (); lines () provided above the glass substrate () and electrically connected with the X- and Y-direction electrodes (); an insulating resin layer () covering the X- and Y-direction electrodes () and lines (); and a conductive layer () provided above the insulating resin layer () to allow static electricity entering the panel from the outside to flow therethrough.

Touch panel

A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal display panel, a functional panel, a photo curable adhesive, a transparent electrode, and a light blocking line. The liquid crystal panel includes a display area to display an image and a non-display area surrounding the display area. The functional panel is attached to the liquid crystal panel, and includes a display overlapping area overlapping with the display area and a display non-overlapping area overlapping with the non-display area in a plan view. The photo curable adhesive is arranged between the panels and cured by light applied thereto. The transparent electrode is arranged in the display overlapping area and made of light transmissive conductive material. The light blocking line is arranged in the display non-overlapping area and made of light shielding metal material. The light blocking line partially has a light-transmission cutout that is configured to allow the light to pass therethrough.
