In response to accepting a first operation to the operation panel with a local operation screen not displayed on the touch panel, the controller causes the touch panel to display the local operation screen, and thereafter switches the local operation screen on the touch panel to a standby screen after waiting until a continuous time with no operation to the touch panel exceeds a first threshold time. In response to accepting a second operation to the operation panel with the local operation screen not displayed on the touch panel, the controller causes the touch panel to display the standby screen without waiting for the first threshold time to elapse.

An image forming apparatus includes a network interface, an operation panel including a touch panel, and a controller configured to provide a mobile input function to a mobile terminal via the network interface. The mobile input function enables the image forming apparatus to accept input operations from the mobile terminal via the network interface. The controller displays access information on the touch panel when the mobile input function is not provided, and starts providing the mobile input function in response to receiving access from the mobile terminal using the access information via the network interface. The controller displays a standby screen including a particular operable object on a touch panel when the mobile input function is not provided. When the particular operable object is operated, the controller switches the standby screen to a local operation screen. An image forming apparatus, having a mobile input function and a remote input function, includes a network interface, an operation panel including a touch panel, and a controller. A printing system includes a printer, a server device, and a client device. The client device receives identification information of a user, and transmits a print job for an image to be printed to the server device. The print job is associated with a computer name. The computer name specifis the client device and is assigned to the received identification information. The server device stores the print job in a specific folder having a name corresponding to the identification information to which the computer name is assigned and which is associated with the print job. The printer searches a folder provided in the server device to find the specific folder, receives selection of a print job from among one or more print jobs stored in the found folder, receives the selected print job from the server device, and prints an image based on the received print job.
