An interior permanent magnet motor includes a rotor with permanent magnets spaced apart in a circumferential direction, and a rotor core with core pieces positioned between adjacent permanent magnets. The permanent magnets include a pair of corner portions at each of an end on an outside in a radial direction and an end on an inside in the radial direction. Each of the core pieces includes at least one of an outer support portion that supports one corner portion of the pair of corner portions at the end of the permanent magnets on the outside in the radial direction or an inner support portion that supports one corner portion of the pair of corner portions at the end of the permanent magnets on the inside in the radial direction, and restricts movement of the permanent magnets in the radial direction.

A motor mounted on a drone includes a rotor including a propeller mounting portion with a propeller detachably attached, the rotor being rotatable about a central axis, a stator radially facing the rotor with a gap therebetween, and an auto-balancer capable of automatically correcting dynamic balance of the rotor.

An inline axial flow fan includes a first fan including a first impeller, a first motor portion, and a first case, and a second fan including a second impeller, a second motor portion, and a second case, the first fan and the second fan being positioned in sequence from one axial side to another axial side. The first case includes multiple first slits, and the second case includes multiple second slits. The inline axial flow fan includes a flange extending radially outward from an outer peripheral surface of the first case or the second case located between the first slit and the second slit in the axial direction.

An inline axial flow fan includes a first fan including a first impeller, a first motor portion, and a first case, and a second fan including a second impeller, a second motor portion, and a second case, the first fan and the second fan being positioned in sequence from one axial side to another axial side. The first case and the second case are accommodated in a housing, and only one of the first case and the second case includes multiple slits that connect the inside and the outside of the first case and the second case in the radial direction.

A drive device includes a hollow hub rotatable about hub shafts extending parallel to a center axis, a motor housed in the hub and fixed to the hub shafts, and a speed reducer connected to the motor and the hub. The motor includes a rotor including a motor shaft extending parallel to the hub shafts, a stator disposed outside the rotor in a radial direction, and a motor housing holding the stator therein. The drive device includes thermal grease thermally connecting the hub and the motor housing to each other.

In a speed reducing unit with an electric motor, a speed reduction mechanism has: an elliptical cam that rotates together with a rotating part; a flexible external gear that deforms according to the rotation of the elliptical cam; a flexible bearing that is located between the elliptical cam and the flexible external gear; and a movable internal gear that rotates together with an output part. The flexible external gear and the movable internal gear are engaged with each other. The electric motor has: a rotor holder that is part of the rotating part and that rotates together with the elliptical cam; a rotor magnet that is fixed to the rotor holder; and a stator that is fixed to a casing. The rotor holder has a rotor-holder lid part, and the positions of the rotor-holder lid part and the flexible bearing in the axial direction at least partially overlap.

Speed reducer with electric motor

An electric motor-attached speed reducer includes a first member, an electric motor, a speed reduction mechanism, and a second member. The electric motor is arranged to produce rotational motion with respect to the first member. The speed reduction mechanism is arranged to transfer the rotational motion obtained from the electric motor while reducing the speed thereof. The second member is arranged to rotate relative to the first member at a rotation rate resulting from the speed reduction. A first bearing is arranged between the first and second members. A second bearing is arranged between the first member and a rotor of the electric motor. The speed reduction mechanism includes a flexible third bearing arranged between a non-perfect circular cam and a flexible external gear. The second bearing is arranged to radially overlap with a rotor holder at a first axial position. The third bearing is arranged to radially overlap with the rotor holder at a second axial position different from the first axial position.

Electric motor-attached speed reducer

A planetary gear mechanism includes a sun gear, planetary gears, an annular internal gear, a carrier that is fixed to a bracket and includes a second lid, and a support shaft. An output unit is supported to be rotatable by a first bearing attached to the support shaft and a second bearing attached to the bracket, and fixed to the internal gear. The bracket includes a protrusion protruding from a first lid to one side in the axial direction. A radially inside surface of the protrusion includes a first curved surface extending in a circumferential direction as viewed along the axial direction. The carrier includes a second curved surface located radially inside the first curved surface. The second curved surface extends in the circumferential direction as viewed along the axial direction, and contacts with the first curved surface.

A method of manufacturing a rotating electrical machine includes: fixing a rotor core to a shaft; assembling a stationary assembly in which a first bearing is fixed to a housing bottom portion of a substantially cylindrical housing member having a closed bottom and in which an annular stator is fixed to an inner circumferential surface of a cylinder portion of the housing member; inserting the rotor core into the stator; fitting an upper portion of the shaft into a second bearing supported by a bearing support member. The method further includes fixing the bearing support member to an upper portion of the housing member; and axially inserting a plurality of rotor magnets into a plurality of axially-extending hole-shaped or groove-shaped magnet holding portions formed in the rotor core, through a magnet insertion hole defined in one of the bearing support member and the housing bottom portion.
