A partial battery pack structure includes a battery group, heat transfer plates, and a radiator, and is formed by stacking layers. Each layer arranges cylindrical batteries in parallel in a plane. The batteries in adjacent layers have alignment pitches shifted by a half pitch from each other. Each heat transfer plate contacts side surfaces of the batteries on both surfaces of the heat transfer plates, is formed by a heat transfer corrugated plate member, and extends through a gap between the batteries along an alignment direction of the cylindrical batteries in the layers in the plane intersecting center axis lines of the cylindrical batteries, a first intersection direction intersecting the alignment direction or a second intersection direction intersecting the alignment direction and the first intersection direction. The radiator is on a side of the battery group and connects with each heat transfer plate. Each battery contacts two or more heat transfer plates.

Battery pack

Provided is a pressure-resistant container that allows a time required for winding a fiber-reinforced member on both a tubular barrel portion and dome portions of a container body to be shortened. A pressure-resistant container includes: a container body having a tubular barrel portion, and dome portions that are provided integrally on both end portions, respectively, in an axial direction, of the tubular barrel portion; and a fiber-reinforced member that covers an outer surface of the container body. The fiber-reinforced member includes a first fiber sheet that is formed from fibers oriented in one direction, and that has a fiber direction in which the fibers extend such that the fiber direction is tilted relative to the axial direction of the container body at such an angle as to cover both the dome portions, on both sides in the axial direction, of the container body. The first fiber sheet has a sheet body portion formed in a sheet-like shape, and a plurality of protruding portions that are aligned on and protrude from both end portions, in a fiber direction, of the sheet body portion. The sheet body portion is wound along an outer surface of the tubular barrel portion to cover the tubular barrel portion. The protruding portions are wound back along outer surfaces of the dome portions to cover the dome portions.

Pressure-resistant container

An ion exchanger used in a cooling system of a fuel cell system, includes: a communicating tube portion including a first flow path which allows coolant introduced from one side to pass therethrough to the other side; a case portion which is provided to communicate with the communicating tube portion; and a storage body which is assembled to the case portion, has a second flow path in which a part of the coolant branches and flows from the communicating tube portion, and is merged with the communicating tube portion again, and stores an ion exchange resin in the second flow path, wherein: an assembled state of the storage body with respect to the case portion is changeable into a plurality of kinds; and a proportion of the coolant that flows to the second flow path is changeable by changing the assembled state of the storage body.

A seal structure of a high-pressure tank including: the first member in which a tank chamber is formed inside; and the second member which is fitted into the opening hole of the first member and provided with an annular groove formed on an outer peripheral surface, the seal structure includes: a seal member, having an annular shape, configured to be disposed on the tank chamber side in the groove; and a first back-up member and a second back-up member configured to be disposed further to the side opposite to the tank chamber side than the seal member in the groove, to include inclined surface parts respectively opposite to each other. The inclined surface part of the first back-up member includes a crest folding corner part in which a first low angle inclined part and a first high angle inclined part are connected to each other.

Battery module and method for manufacturing same

A technique for sufficiently filling an adhesive between a battery retaining section of a holder and a battery cell in a battery module configured by the battery cell being inserted and adhered in the aperture-shaped battery retaining section provided in the holder is provided. An adhesive layer that adheres a holder and a battery cells in a battery module is formed in a two-layer structure of a holder-side adhesive layer making contact with an inner circumferential surfaces of a battery retaining sections and a cell-side adhesive layer making contact with an outer circumferential surfaces of the battery cells, and different types of adhesives are used for an adhesive configuring the holder-side adhesive layer and an adhesive configuring the cell-side adhesive layer.

Battery module and method for manufacturing the same

A liner includes a covering portion that covers an inner surface over the entire circumference of the inner surface of a flange portion of a mouthpiece. A covering opposing portion, which is the inner surface of the flange portion and covered with the covering portion, includes a holding groove and a seal groove on the radially outer side of the flange portion. In an axial cross-section of a pressure container, the holding groove extends, from its groove opening toward groove bottom, in a direction inclined toward a radially inner side of the flange portion with respect to a boss portion axial direction, and the seal groove extends, from its groove opening toward groove bottom, in a direction different from the direction of the holding groove. The covering portion includes a holding rib fitted into the holding groove and movable therein, and a seal rib fitted into the seal groove.

A bus bar module is located on one end of each battery of a group of batteries that have terminals at their ends. The bus bar module includes a bus bar, which is made of a conductive metal, and electrically connects the terminals of the respective batteries in the battery group, and an insulating laminate portion that is laminated, at least on an inner surface of the bus bar facing the ends of the batteries and an outer surface, which is opposite to the inner surface of the bus bar. The insulating laminate portion has an insulating material that includes thermoplastic elastomer and/or rubber.

A battery module includes a battery group configured of a plurality of cylindrical batteries, a holder configured to retain the battery group so that the respective batteries are bundled in parallel to each other, and a casing being closed by the holder and including a storing space for housing the battery group. The casing includes an opposing wall portion facing the holder, and the opposing wall portion includes hole portions that retain the batteries by peripheries or inner circumferential surfaces of the hole portions. The battery module also includes guiding portions formed on the peripheries or the inner circumferential surfaces of the hole portions that are configured to guide the batteries into the storing space within the casing by causing the batteries to come closer to centers of the hole portions, such that central axis lines of the batteries pass through the centers of the hole portions.

A battery adhesion-fixation structure includes battery cells, a holder, an adhesive agent, bus bars, and an insulator. The holder includes holder holes for holding the battery cells therein. The adhesive agent adheres the battery cells with the holder within the holder holes. The bus bars electrically connect the battery cells with each other. The insulator intervenes between the bus bars and the holder. The bus bars include a bus-bar hole, and a terminal tab. The bus-bar hole faces face-to-face to an electrode terminal of the battery cells. The terminal tab projects into the bus-bar hole to be electrically connected with the electrode terminal. The insulator includes a face, and a dent opening in the face. The face opposes to the holder. The dent opens in the face, and accommodates the adhesive agent overflown toward the insulator therein.

Battery adhesion-fixation structure

An object of the invention is to provide an easy sealing technique of a battery element. A battery module has a battery element placed in the frame shape of an insulating middle frame body. This battery element is covered across the middle frame body by a positive electrode-side plate and a negative electrode-side plate to be contained. In the battery module, an insulating outer peripheral frame body is provided to cover outer peripheral plate sections of the positive electrode-side plate and the negative electrode-side plate along a circumference in a frame shape to include circumferential end faces of the positive and negative electrode-side plates and a circumferential end face of the middle frame body.

An electric storage apparatus includes a plurality of electric storage elements, a bus bar electrically connecting the plurality of electric storage elements, and a case housing the plurality of electric storage elements. Each of the electric storage elements extends in a predetermined direction and has a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal at both ends in the predetermined direction. The plurality of electric storage elements are aligned in a plane orthogonal to the predetermined direction. The case has an opening portion configured to pass a heat exchange medium therethrough and extending in the predetermined direction. A battery pack includes a single cell having a cylindrical shape, the single cell having a positive electrode at one end of the single cell and a negative electrode at the other end of the single cell, a plurality of the single cells being arranged in a radial direction of the single cell; a fuse; a first bus bar connected via the fuse to one electrode, from among the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a second bus bar directly connected to the other electrode, from among the positive electrode and the negative electrode; and a retaining member configured to retain the plurality of single cells from the radial direction of the single cell, in a manner such that when the fuse is disconnected, retaining force with which the single cell is retained by the retaining member decreases and the single cell moves in a direction away from the fuse.

A battery holder includes restriction members protruded from a holding base plate in an axial direction of batteries to be located in spaces between the batteries. Each of the restriction members has: a tapered surface which is inclined to the axial direction and is in line contact with an outer periphery of the end face of the battery when the restriction member is inserted into the space, so as to apply a force to move the battery in a radial direction of the battery; and a support surface which supports a side face of the battery that is not in contact with the tapered surface, by surface contact. The support surface receives a moving force in the radial direction from the tapered surface and supports the side face of the battery by a reactive force.

Battery device that holds batteries

A vehicle having a battery mounted thereon is provided. The battery includes a cell group having a plurality of cells, each of the cells including an electrolytic solution and a power-generating element within a case of cylindrical shape, and a holding member holding each of the cells in a diameter direction of the cell, wherein the cell group is placed in an area inside an edge of the holding member when viewed from a height direction of the vehicle. Each of the cells can be arranged to extend in the height direction of the vehicle. The holding member may be a heat dissipation plate allowing heat exchange between the cells.
