Provided is a positive electrode active material including a first lithium oxide represented by LiNiAOA, where −0.5≤x≤0.3, 0≤y≤0.1, and 0≤z≤0.3. Here, at least one of y and z is not 0. Aincludes at least one selected from the group consisting of Ga, Bi, Ba, Y, Sn, Ca, W, and Ta. Aincludes at least one selected from the group consisting of halogen elements and S.
