An image signal processorinputs digital picture datainto a compressorand into a resolution changerin parallel. The compressoroutputs compressed data, which is compressed digital picture data, to an outputthrough a buffer. Meanwhile, a resolution changeroutputs the new digital picture data, which is the digital picture datawith reduced resolution, to the output.
