A spark plug has a housing of a cylindrical shape, an insulator of a cylindrical shape fitted into the inside of the housing, a center electrode and a ground electrode. No male screw part is formed on an outer peripheral surface of the housing. A housing support surface is formed on an inner peripheral surface of the housing. An outer peripheral surface of the insulator has an insulator support surface which is supported by the housing support surface in an axial direction of the spark plug. The housing has a pressure fitting part to be presses to a cylinder head of an internal combustion engine. A part of the pressure fitting part and a part of at least one of the housing support surface and the insulator support surface are arranged to be overlapped with each other in a radial direction of the spark plug.

Spark plug and ignition device of internal combustion engine

A spark plug has a housing of a cylindrical shape and an insulator of a cylindrical shape supported inside the housing. A position of an insulator distal end at a distal end of the insulator is arranged equal to or forward of a position of a distal end of the housing in an axial direction of the spark plug. The spark plug satisfies a relationship designated by an equation, &#x2212;0.064L+0.26E+0.53&#x2264;T&#x2264;0.07L&#x2212;0.35L+1.36, where T indicates a thickness of the insulator distal end of the insulator, and L indicates an insulator projection length measured from the position of the distal end of the housing to the position at the insulator distal end surface of the insulator.

An insert is configured to be inserted into a heat exchanger having a plurality of tubes. The insert includes a base and a multiple blades. The blades are extended from the base. At least one of the blades has a spring portion. The spring portion is resiliently deformable and configured to be resiliently inserted between two of the tubes. The spring portion includes two arms. One of the two arms has one thin portion defining one recess dented in one direction in a thickness direction. The other of the two arms has the other thin portion defining the other recess dented in the other direction in the thickness direction. The one thin portion and the other thin portion are resiliently movable in a width direction within a clearance formed by the recesses, while overlapping one another in the thickness direction.

An insert is configured to be inserted into a heat exchanger having a plurality of tubes. The insert includes a base and a multiple blades. The blades are extended from the base. At least one of the blades has a spring portion. The spring portion is resiliently deformable and configured to be resiliently inserted between two of the tubes.

An HVAC airflow door assembly including a pivot hub, a main body, and a flexible member. The pivot hub is connectable with a pivot member for pivoting the door assembly. The main body extends from the pivot hub and includes a distal end opposite to and spaced apart from the pivot hub. The flexible member is mounted to, and extends from, the distal end of the main body, and is configured for connection with a guide track. The door assembly is configured for rotation by the pivot member between a first position in which the flexible member is collapsed, and a second position in which the flexible member is extended relative to the first position.

A spark plug for an internal combustion engine includes a center electrode, an insulator holding the center electrode inserted therein, a housing holding the insulator inserted therein, a ground electrode joined to the housing so as to form a spark discharge gap with the center electrode, and a stem electrically connected to the center electrode. The stem includes a stem body inserted and held inside the insulator and a terminal exposed from a proximal end of the insulator. The insulator includes a supported portion axially supported by the housing. A heat insulating member is interposed between the stem and the center electrode. A conductive member is disposed inside the insulator so as to pass through the heat insulating member for making electrical connection between the stem and the center electrode. The heat insulating member is located closer to a proximal side of the insulator than the supported portion is.

Spark plug for internal combustion engine

An air conditioning system for a vehicle exhibits a room air conditioner unit for air conditioning a passenger compartment, a seat air conditioner unit for adjusting a temperature of a seat, a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature at a front location of a passenger seated on the seat and the temperature of the seat, and a control unit for controlling operation of the room air conditioner unit and the seat air conditioner unit so that a difference between the temperature at the front of the passenger and the temperature of the seat falls within a certain value range. As a result, a difference in heat sensation between the front and the back of the passenger is reduced, and hence the comfortableness of the passenger compartment can be improved.
