In a vehicle with a load-carrying platform, an elastic band is provided so a rear portion of a tailgate and a rear portion of a bed extender enter a tensioned state. A rotation regulation mechanism is provided to the tailgate and the bed extender that regulates further rotational movement by the tailgate and the bed extender making contact when the tailgate is rotated towards a closed position. The bed extender and the tailgate are prevented from rotating in the same direction by the rotation regulation mechanism, and the load on the elastic band is mitigated.

A beach cleaner has a frame formed by a longitudinal member and a lateral member, a ski member that is secured to a front portion of the frame and grounded to a sand surface GL, a trailing target portion that is trailed by a trailing vehicle, a separator that is provided at a front lower portion of the frame and scrapes up trash from a sand area while separating the trash from sand, a trash withdrawing member that is provided to the frame at a rear side of the separator to collect the trash scraped up by the separator onto a mesh member, and a wheel at a rear side of the frame. The trash withdrawing member has a fixed withdrawing body that is located at a front end portion and fixed to the frame, and a swing withdrawing body.

A beach cleaner having a frame constructed by longitudinal members and lateral members, a ski member that is attached to the front portion of the frame and comes into contact with the sand surface, a towed portion to be towed by a towing vehicle, a separating machine that is provided on a lower front portion of the frame to separate and scrape up trash from the sand, a trash withdrawing member for capturing on a mesh member trash which was scraped up upon the frame at the rear side of the separating machine and a wheel on the rear portion of the frame. Further, a driving force conversion/transmission mechanism is provide for supporting the trash withdrawing member so that he trash withdrawing member is swingable and converting rotational driving force of the wheel to vibrating force to vibrate the trash withdrawing member.

A box-shaped beach-cleaning trailer is configured to be loaded with, and collectively carry beach-cleaning equipment and a litter collection station. The beach-cleaning equipment are towed by a vehicle to collect litter on the sands. The litter collected by the beach-cleaning equipment is collected in the litter collection station. The trailer includes a pair of rail members disposed on upper edges of the respective opposite side wall portions such that the rail members face each other with an opening therebetween. A sieve unit is detachably mounted on the rail members, and is configured to move a back-and-forth direction along the rail members. The sieve unit is moved in a back-and-forth direction manually; or by using a driving mechanism including a drive wheel, a driven wheel, and a connecting rod arranged between the sieve unit and the driven wheel, for separating colleted litter of various sizes from sand.

Beach-cleaning system for separating litter from sand, trailer incorporating same, and method of using same

A vehicle body frame structure for an all-terrain vehicle having at least a front wheel, and including a first frame assembly and a second frame assembly. The first frame assembly includes an arm support portion and a steering shaft support portion located at a front portion of the vehicle body frame structure, for steering the front wheel. The second frame assembly is bisected from the first frame assembly; and the vehicle body frame structure also includes a suspension arm vertically swingably supported by the arm support portion.

Vehicle body frame structure for all-terrain vehicle

A brake lever assembly can be assembled by providing a housing coupling the brake lever assembly to a vehicle, a brake lever pivotally attached to the housing, and a reinforcing plate mounted on the housing. The reinforcing plate can be secured to a top surface of the housing and to a side surface of the housing. The assembly can also include a parking lever pivotally mounted on the brake lever. The pivoting of the parking lever, during actuation of the brake lever, can cause a tip of the parking lever to engage the reinforcing plate. This maintains actuation of the brake lever. The assembly can further include a brake light actuation switch mounted on the reinforcing plate. The actuation of the brake lever actuates the brake light actuation switch.

Brake assembly for an all terrain vehicle and method of making same

In an exhaust silencing device having inner tubes which are connected to an exhaust pipe connected to an engine and provided with a plurality of through holes, and an outer tube which covers the inner tubes. The occurrence of a whistling sound is prevented while avoiding the use of a sound absorbing material. Recesses or indentations, are provided on the inner surface of the inner tube, which, together with the outer tube, form an annular expansion chamber.

Exhaust silencing device

A frame structure for a saddle-seat vehicle supports a plurality of wheels, with at least one of the wheels being steerable, and with at least one of the wheels being driven by a power unit. The frame structure includes a main frame member. The main frame member has a generally cylindrical cross-section and is formed as a one-piece continuous tubular member. The main frame member includes a left portion, a right portion, and a curved front portion interconnecting the left portion with the right portion. The curved front portion is located above and forwardly of the power unit. A heat plate is located between the left portion and the right portion, and rearwardly of the curved front portion. The heat plate includes a plurality of lip portions which overlay the left portion, the right portion, and the curved front portion of the main frame member. The lip portion includes a pair of elastic bushings which are located between the lip portion and the left and right portions of the main frame member. A plate bracket fastens the heat plate to the main frame member. A fuel tank is located above the heat plate and the plate bracket and is spaced therefrom by the pair of elastic bushings and by a third elastic bushing provided on the heat plate. This spacing provides an air gap between the heat plate and fuel tank for cooling the heat plate. A steering column bracket is attached to the curved front portion of the main frame member.

A crank shaft of a power unit is disposed in the longitudinal direction of a vehicular body. Accessories provided at either end portion of the crank shaft are covered with a front cover and rear covers which are removable from a casing. Front and rear drive shafts are disposed to be lower than the axial line of the crank shaft. A fan unit and an air cleaner are disposed to be higher than the axial line, so that front and rear operating spaces for inserting an impact wrench are formed in front of and in back of the front cover and the rear covers. The maintenance is performed through the operational spaces.
