A method for evaluating noise of a glass run of an automobile door includes: detecting oscillation of the door glass by a sensor for the door glass and then storing the oscillation as an oscillatory wave form of the door glass and detecting oscillation of the frame by a sensor for the frame and then storing the oscillation as an oscillatory wave form of the frame, with the glass run coupling to the automobile door; synthesizing the oscillatory wave form of the door glass and the oscillatory wave form of the frame, picking out relative oscillation of the door glass in relation to the frame and storing the relative oscillation as a synthesized oscillatory wave form; making oscillation corresponding to the synthesized oscillatory wave form by an oscillator and oscillating the door glass with the automobile stopped; and detecting sound of the oscillation by a microphone.

Method for evaluating noise of glass run

A weather strip for an automobile is provided that prevents formation of an electric circuit caused by an intrusion of snow, water or the like. The weather strip includes an installation base member operatively coupled on a body of an automobile at a periphery edge of an opening corresponding to a door, and a hollow seal member integrally molded with the installation base member. The hollow seal member protrudes to a side of the door at an outer side of the automobile and makes an elastic contact with the door when the door is in a closed position. An entire exposed outer surface of the hollow seal member and an outer surface of the installation base member continued from the hollow seal member are formed sequentially by a non-electric conductive material having the volume resistivity of 10&#x3a9; or greater.

Weather strip for automobile

A seal structure for a vehicle, which includes a door member and a seal member attached thereto. The seal member includes a horizontally extending upper seal lip which comes into elastic contact with a peripheral part of an opening provided on a vehicle body, and a vertically extending side seal lip which comes into elastic contact with another peripheral part of the opening. The upper seal lip and side seal lip are connected to each other by die forming, thus forming a connected portion thereof. The upper seal lip and side seal lip have, on a side of the connected portion to be proximate to the vehicle body when the door member is closed, a seal sheet member covering the connected portion.

Seal structure for a vehicle

There is provided a fixing structure of a door weather strip which comprises a weather strip for a car and an insert clip for fixing a molding part of the weather strip to a door panel. The weather strip comprises a molding part having an insertion hole, and bag-shaped fitting grooves which are formed above the insertion hole at an outer side of the molding part, each having an opening at the lower end thereof. The insert clip comprises a plate-shaped body part having a clip part which projects laterally from the body part and is inserted into the insertion hole of the weather strip to fix the weather strip to the door panel. The insert clip also comprises pawl parts which stand upright from the outer end of the body part, and each pawl part tightly fits in a corresponding fitting groove of the weather strip.
