A cleaning tool includes a body for sucking in dust on a surface to be cleaned, a suction pipe, and a joint for connecting the suction pipe to the body. The joint is positioned closer to one end of the body with respect to a center of the body in a longitudinal direction of the body and is positioned substantially at center in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction. A second rotating portion of the joint is connected to the body so as to be rotatable around a second axis of rotation being substantially parallel to the longitudinal direction. A first rotating portion of the joint is rotatably connected to the second rotating portion so as to be rotatable relative to the second rotating portion around a first axis of rotation being at an intersecting position or a skewed position with respect to the second axis of rotation.

Cleaning tool and electric cleaner

A body included in a cleaning tool has a proximal end, a distal end, and a bottom surface that faces a surface to be cleaned when in use. A length from the proximal end to the distal end is longer than a width perpendicular to a longitudinal direction from the proximal end toward the distal end. A joint that connects a suction pipe being a wand to the body is positioned closer to the proximal end than to the distal end. The joint enables a first angle being an angle of a longitudinal axis of the wand with respect to the longitudinal direction of the body to be changed. The cleaning tool includes a locking mechanism that, when the first angle is equal to a holding angle of 90&#xb0; or less, prevents the first angle from changing from the holding angle to a different angle.

Cleaning tool and vacuum cleaner

A cleaner head for a vacuum cleaner includes: a body having a proximal end and a distal end; an agitator, an axis of rotation Rof the agitator being substantially parallel to a longitudinal direction of the body; a motor configured to cause the agitator to rotate; and a joint configured to turnably connect a suction pipe to the body. The joint is positioned closer to the proximal end than to the distal end. The body includes a second suction channel configured to communicate with a first suction channel inside the joint, and a bulkhead configured to separate an agitator chamber and the second suction channel from each other. The second suction channel extends substantially parallel to the axis of rotation of the agitator. The bulkhead includes at least one air vent from the agitator chamber to the second suction channel.

Cleaner head for vacuum cleaner, and vacuum cleaner

There is provided an electric vacuum cleaner capable of further cleaning up air discharged from a whirling chamber which swirls air to separate dust from the air by inertial force, as well as capable of downsizing the electric vacuum cleaner's body. To this end, the electric vacuum cleaner includes: a whirling chamber configured to swirl air containing dust around a central axis to separate dust from the air containing dust, the whirling chamber having a discharge port for discharging air in the whirling chamber; a discharge pipe provided in the whirling chamber along the central axis, the discharge pipe communicating with the discharge port; and a filter provided on a downstream side of the discharge port. The filter is positioned outside of the discharge pipe on a projection plane perpendicular to the central axis.

Electric vacuum cleaner

When an inverter circuit is driven with a predetermined driving frequency, an amount of current change of an input current or a coil current in a set period is detected, and high frequency power to be supplied from the inverter circuit to a heating coil is adjusted in accordance with the amount of current change.

Induction heating cooker

When an inverter circuit is driven at a predetermined driving frequency, an amount of current change per predetermined period of time of an input current or a coil current is detected, and a heating period from a start of control until the amount of current change becomes a set value or less is measured. Then, the inverter circuit is controlled to reduce high frequency power to be supplied to a heating coil in accordance with a length of the measured heating period.
