A gas supply system that supplies a gas after making confluence of the gas flows from gas containers includes: a supply pressure detector that detects supply pressure of the gas following the confluence; and a controller that permits a gas supply-destination apparatus to be activated if the supply pressure detected after an elapse of a determination time from a start of the gas supply is greater than or equal to a threshold pressure, and that prohibits the apparatus from being activated if the supply pressure is less than the threshold pressure. The controller uses a first determination time as the determination time if it is determined that internal pressures that are the gas pressures in the containers are not imbalanced between the containers, and uses a second determination time that is longer than the first as the determination time if it is determined that the internal pressures are imbalanced.

A hydrogen filling system includes: a hydrogen tank that is filled with hydrogen; a determination unit that determines whether to fill hydrogen into the hydrogen tank; and a temperature regulating unit that regulates a temperature of the hydrogen tank, wherein, when the determination unit determines to fill hydrogen into the hydrogen tank, the temperature regulating unit starts cooling the hydrogen tank before filling of hydrogen into the hydrogen tank is started.

A pipe coupling member for high-pressure fluid such as liquefied hydrogen includes a seal ring having a highly effective sealing function to prevent leakage of the fluid. The seal ring () is set in a seal ring setting space () defined by a second radial surface () and a seal ring setting surface () of a first tubular member (), a forward end surface of a second tubular member (), and the outer peripheral surface of a valve seat member (). A forward end portion of the second tubular member () is provided with a communication hole () radially penetrating the forward end portion. The pressure of the high-pressure fluid on the downstream side of a valve seat surface () causes a fluid path in the second tubular member to be communicated with the sealing ring setting space () via the communication hole () and via a gap between the seal ring setting surface () and the outer peripheral surface of the forward end portion of the second tubular member.
