A pushbutton of a portable apparatus is locked against inward axial movement by engagement with a locking member when the locking member is unthreaded a distancefrom the apparatus body and brought into abutment with a fixed stopper member. The pushbutton is released from its locked state when the locking member is threaded into the apparatus body and brought out of abutment with the stopper member and into abutment with the apparatus body. Portable apparatus and portable timepiece

A wristwatch is equipped with a case band, a bezel, and a guard. The case band has a circular upwardly directed protrusion to which a transparent dial cover is mounted, a surrounding wall portion forming between itself and the upwardly directed protrusion an arrangement groove extending along this protrusion, and open portions for bezel operation. The bezel having manual holding asperities facing the open portions is rotatably supported in the outer periphery of the upwardly directed protrusion, and arranged in the arrangement groove while forming between itself and the surrounding wall portion a gap extending along the surrounding wall portion. There is arranged in the gap the guard, which is engaged with a detachment preventing portion of the surrounding wall portion and moved in the peripheral direction of the bezel; the guard is movable between a use position where it closes the open portions and obstructs manual holding of the manual holding asperities and a retreated position where it opens the open portions to enable manual holding of the manual holding asperities. The guard is retained at the use position by a positioning means.

A timepiece has a case body and a bezel rotatably and detachably connected to the case body. A ring-shaped guide groove formed in the bezel opposes a ring groove formed in the case body, and a plurality of holding members are slidable in the guide groove into and out of the ring groove to respectively prevent and permit detachment of the bezel from the case body. A plurality of operating screws are screwed into the bezel from an outer side thereof and are rotatably connected at their front end portions to respective holding members. Rotation of the operating screws in tightening and loosening directions moves the holding members into and out of the ring groove.

Timepiece having rotatable and detachable bezel

A portable timepiece has a timepiece movement and a movement interlock axle that undergoes linear movement and undergoes rotational movement to transmit a rotational force to the timepiece movement. An external operation body is operable to linearly move and rotate the movement interlock axle. A stopper member undergoes movement between a first position in which the stopper member is engaged with an engagement part of the movement interlock axle to prevent linear movement thereof and a second position in which the stopper member is not engaged with the engagement part to permit linear movement. An operation body undergoes movement in a first direction to engage the stopper member and cause the stopper member to move to the first position to engage the engagement part of the movement interlock axle, and undergoes movement in a second direction in which the operation body is disengaged from the stopper member to cause the stopper member to move to the second position to disengage from the engagement part of the movement interlock axle.

Portable timepiece

Even if a lock member impeding a crown from being excessively pull-moved is carelessly moved, its recovery is easy, and a function for stopping a careless movement of the crown, by the lock member, is maintained for a long period. A wristwatch possesses a case band, a crown, a protector, and a lock mechanism. A winding stem pipe is attached to the case band. The crown has a crown head having non connection relation with the winding stem pipe. This crown is supported to the winding stem pipe so as to be movable in an axial direction of this pipe. The protector is attached to the case band while facing on an end face of the crown head so as to allow an operation of this crown head. The lock mechanism is provided operably in the protector. The lock mechanism has a screw body, and a lock member linearly moving in a direction contacted with and separated from the end face of the crown head by a rotation of the screw body. The lock mechanism moves the lock member between a lock position allowing an operation in which the crown is pull-moved and a lock release position restricting the operation in which the crown is pull-moved.

Portable timepiece with a crown protection and locking device

To provide a wristwatch capable of promoting operability of attaching and detaching an end-piece to and from a rod leg and capable of promoting handling performance in being brought to and from a storing place. A recess portion is formed at a back face of an end-piece of a strap. Through holes opposed to attaching holes of rod legs are respectively provided at side walls of the piece in a state of receiving the piece at a rod crotch between the rod leg of a case body continuous to each other. An attaching member including a fold back portion having pinching portions and capable of being elastically deformed in directions of increasing and reducing an interval therebetween and attaching shaft portions folded to bend from the two portions to be rotatably inserted into the holes is contained in a recess portion movably between a first position and a second position. A fixed shaft pinched by the portion when the member is arranged at the first position is provided at the recess portion to be shifted from a linear line connecting the through holes. The shaft portions are projected to outside of the piece by widening an interval between the portions by the shaft at the first position, and the shaft portions are immersed into the piece when the member is arranged at the second position by detaching the fold back portion from the shaft.

Wristwatch and strap for timepiece

A portable timepiece has a bezel rotatably disposed on a case body, and an elastically deformable gasket interposed between the case body and the bezel in an elastically deformed state to exert a frictional force on the case body and the bezel sufficient to maintain the bezel in a stationary rotational position though permitting the bezel to be manually rotated to any desired position by overcoming the frictional force. One or more lock members are movably disposed on the bezel and contact a slip-preventing part provided on the case body. A manually rotatable holding ring engages with the lock members and is rotatable in one direction to increase the contact pressure between the lock members and the slip-preventing part to thereby prevent unintended rotation of the bezel, and is rotatable in the other direction to decrease the contact pressure to thereby permit manual rotation of the bezel by overcoming the frictional force exerted by the elastically deformed gasket. In this manner, inadvertent rotation of the bezel is prevented by structure other than the gasket thereby preventing undue wear of the gasket.

To provide a wrist watch capable of easily exchanging a bezel by a user per se. A wrist watch is locked in a state in which a case body packing is arranged between a main body of an inner case bodyl including a module including an electronic circuit realizing watch function and an outer case body, an upper end face of a peripheral edge of an inner face body main body is pressed by an inner wall face of a decorative bezel main body and a spring projected portion is fitted to a click hole.
