Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may defer transmission of a first feedback message to a target transmission time interval (TTI). During a reception time interval, a base station may transmit, to the UE, downlink control information (DCI) that triggers the UE to schedule a second feedback message, where the first feedback message and the second feedback message are associated with different types of hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebooks. The UE may compare a minimum processing time of the UE with a time difference between the reception time interval and the target TTI and determine (e.g., evaluate) whether to cancel transmission of the first feedback message based on the comparison. In accordance with the determining, the UE may transmit at least one of the first feedback message or the second feedback message.

Techniques for communicating hybrid automatic repeat request feedback

A method of wireless communication by a user equipment (UE) includes deferring transmission of a first hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) codebook until a target PUCCH, due to potential collision of a first initial semi-persistently scheduled (SPS) physical uplink control channel (PUCCH) with a first downlink symbol. The first HARQ codebook has a physical layer (L1) high priority. The method also includes scheduling transmission of a second HARQ codebook at the target PUCCH, the second HARQ codebook having a physical layer (L1) low priority. The method further includes multiplexing the first HARQ codebook and the second HARQ codebook to generate a combined HARQ codebook for transmission in the target PUCCH.

A method of wireless communication includes determining, by a user equipment (UE), that one or more symbols scheduled for reporting a hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement (HARQ-ACK) to a base station for a semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) transmission include at least one invalid symbol, wherein the one or more symbols are located in a first slot or sub-slot; selecting, by the UE, based on one or more parameters of the SPS PDSCH transmission, a second slot or sub-slot, subsequent to the first slot or sub-slot, for sending a delayed HARQ-ACK for the SPS PDSCH transmission; and sending, by the UE to the base station, the delayed HARQ-ACK for the SPS PDSCH transmission on the second slot or sub-slot.

For instance, a network entity may transmit, to a user equipment Transmission (UE), control signaling indicating that the UE is to provide feedback corresponding to a set of feedback process identifiers for at least one component carrier. The network entity may transmit, to the UE, a cancellation indication Feedback Message that cancels a scheduled uplink transmission in which the UE is scheduled to provide feedback data corresponding to a subset of the set of feedback process identifiers. The network entity may transmit, to the UE, a control message scheduling the UE to transmit the feedback data corresponding to the subset of the set of feedback process identifiers (e.g., based on the cancellation indication). A user equipment (UE) may receive control signaling indicating a set of transmission occasions usable by the UE for transmitting layer one (L1) reports. This disclosure provides systems, methods and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media for resolving collisions between deferred uplink transmissions based on priority. A user equipment (UE) receives a first semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configuration including an indication of resources for acknowledgment (ACK) reporting as uplink control information (UCI), the first SPS configuration indicating a first priority level. The UE receives a second signaling indicating a second priority level for a second transmission, the second priority level being higher than the first priority level. The UE defers a first UCI transmission according to the first SPS configuration during one or more downlink slots to a first uplink capable slot. The first UCI transmission in the first uplink capable slot collides with the second transmission. The UE transmits the second transmission in the first uplink capable slot based on the second priority level being higher than the first priority level.

The UE also may delay transmission of at least the first HARQ feedback payload based on different configurations for HARQ feedback deferral between the first SPS downlink packet and the second SPS downlink packet.

Generally, the described techniques provide for reporting content processing times to a base station to allow the base station to efficiently schedule bi-directional communications one or more UEs. A content processing time may correspond to the time taken by a UE to process one or more downlink signals received in one or more downlink transmissions. In some examples, the UE may report a content processing time for each downlink transmission. In some examples, the UE may report one or more content processing times for multiple downlink transmissions. The base station may use the content processing times to configure an appropriate gap between downlink and uplink transmissions such that the UE may have sufficient time to process downlink signals before transmitting one or more uplink transmissions in response to the one or more downlink transmissions.

A user equipment (UE) of a wireless communication network receives conditions for sweeping beams between a base station of the network and the UE. The conditions include a beam sweeping trigger rule, and a beam measurement configuration for measuring at least one characteristic of each of the beams on downlink. The UR measures at least one characteristic of each of the beams in accordance with the measurement configuration. After the measuring, the UE detects a trigger in accordance with the trigger rule. In response to detecting the trigger, the UE sweeps the beams on uplink based on the measuring.
