An electrical contact system is provided for contacting a coil, in particular a coil of a rotational speed sensor, having: a holding body, the holding body being electrically insulated, a line segment, at least one electrical line, the electrical line being surrounded by an electrical insulating layer, at least one spring element, the at least one spring element being electrically conductive, the at least one spring element having at least one opening, the at least one opening forming a cutting edge in at least some regions of its edge, the at least one spring element being pressed with the at least one cutting edge against the line segment in such a way that the at least one cutting edge pierces through the electrical insulating layer and an electrical contact is produced between the at least one spring element and the at least one line segment.

Electrical contact system for contacting a coil

An electrical connection configuration, e.g., for an ignition coil, includes: an enameled wire sheathed in insulating enamel, and a contact element for the electrical contacting of the enameled wire, the contact element having a contact region for the electrical contacting of the enameled wire. The contact region has at least one sharp edge, and the enameled wire is routed along the sharp edge, such that a region of the enameled wire stripped of the enamel is provided, which rests against the contact region of the contact element for the electrical contacting.

Electrical connection configuration for an ignition coil

An ignition coil, in particular for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle, having a secondary winding situated on a coil body for the production of a high voltage at a spark plug, having a contact sleeve that electrically contacts the secondary winding and that is capable of being pushed over an end area of the coil body and that has at least one contact element for the secondary winding, and having a holding-down element that can be pushed over the contact sleeve and that acts on the at least one contact element of the contact sleeve. In its end position, the holding-down element protrudes beyond the at least one contact element of the contact sleeve, seen in the axial direction of the coil body, and covers the at least one contact element.

Ignition coil, in particular for an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle

A method for producing a coil, in particular an ignition coil for a motor vehicle, in which a primary winding is wound onto a winding mandrel. Then the winding mandrel is introduced into a housing of the coil and the winding mandrel then is removed from the housing, the primary winding remaining inside the housing. Finally, additional components of the coil, in particular a secondary coil shell onto which a secondary winding has been wound, are introduced into the housing, so that the secondary winding is concentrically disposed within the primary winding while dispensing with a separate primary coil shell. The method allows a design of the coil that is more compact in diameter.

Method for producing a coil, in particular an ignition coil for a motor vehicle

A magnetic circuit for an ignition coil or a transformer, including an inner, essentially rod-shaped core and an outer core. The outer core includes a strip-shaped element of thickness, length and width, and is situated around the inner core in such a way that the strip-shaped element is positioned at the faces of the inner core with its thickness perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the inner core.

Magnetic circuit for ignition coils or transformers

An electrical connection set-up for connecting thin enameled wires in ignition coils, which is to replace thermal methods, for example. This is achieved in that, to produce contacting between the winding and the respective high-voltage or low-voltage outlets, an individual contact element able to be slid over the winding by its one side and is fixed in place via its other side, the contact element having a spring-type design, a sliding surface, and at least on its one side fans out in a tulip-shape in the sliding direction, in such a way that the contact element presses against the winding in a spring-like manner in the mounted state and the insulation layer is ruptured and electrical contacting takes place.

An electrical connection set-up for manufacturing an ignition coil is provided, which includes, on the side of the low-voltage outlet, a contact spring which is installed by being lifted over corresponding secondary windings without touching them and which then snaps into place due to spring-like form or support, while elements provided on the contact spring break through an insulating layer surrounding the secondary winding, thus establishing the electrical connection without the use of thermal methods.

An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine has a rod-shaped magnetic core, which is situated within a secondary coil shell. The annular interspace between the magnetic core and the secondary coil shell is filled with an electrically insulating molded material. To prevent the formation of tears in the molded material during thermo-mechanical loading, or the spread of such tears such that the operativeness of the ignition coil is adversely affected, a separation element is provided, which divides the molded material into at least two mutually separate regions.

An ignition coil for an internal combustion engine, including a magnetically active core, a first coil shell which is used as a support for a first coil winding made of an electrically conductive wire, and a second coil shell which is positioned so as to be concentric to the first coil shell and is used as a support for a second coil winding made of an electrically conductive wire. Situated between the first coil winding and the second coil winding is a shielding layer, which is made of an electrically conductive material and provided with a grounding contact.
