A system for forming workpieces, has at least one forming tool has at least one machining device with a local energy feed. The local feed is provided for machining the workpieces as a separate station within the forming system.

Forming system and process

A process forms workpieces in a forming system with at least one forming station. The workpieces are transported from or to the at least one forming station. Outside the time period provided for the forming of a certain workpiece, a machining takes place in the forming system with a local energy feed on this workpiece.

A system for punching metal sheets and for stacking metal sheets in the appropriate punched pattern, particularly for electric machines, has a die for punching the metal sheets, a die plate cooperating with the die, and a guiding device for guiding the punched metal sheets below the die plate. The guiding device has at least two clamping elements. The clamping elements are provided for clamping the punched metal sheets on their circumference and thus forming a stack branch-off which permits an uninterrupted punching during the discharge of the metal sheet stack.

A processing apparatus is provided which includes a stretch-forming apparatus and a beam processing unit or apparatus, which can be controlled by a common control unit. The beam processing unit can be a laser beam processing unit, which permits a sheet metal piece to be subjected to an additional laser processing step before, during and/or after a stretch-forming process.

A system for punching and bundling metal sheets, particularly for electric machines, has a die for punching the metal sheets. A die plate cooperates with the die, and a shaft receives and stacks the punched metal sheets. A device separates the punched metal sheets stacked in the receiving shaft. The separating device has at least two wedge elements which penetrate at a predetermined height of the stack of punched metal sheets, into the metal sheet stack at least approximately perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of the receiving shaft.
