A damper for fittings for furniture or household appliances has a housing in which a piston connected to a piston rod is guided in a linearly displaceable manner, the piston dividing an interior space in the housing into two chambers, wherein at least one flow channel is formed on or in the piston, which flow channel connects the two chambers to one another, wherein a throttle element is provided, which, in a damping position, keeps the cross-section of the at least one flow channel small when the piston moves in a first direction in order to generate high damping forces, and when the piston moves in the second direction opposite to the first direction, increases the cross-section of the at least one flow channel for reducing the damping forces by a movement of the throttle element.

Damper

A hinge having a side part which can be fastened to a wall and a hinge part which can be pivoted relative to the side part and to which a door can be fixed, and having a linear damper arranged in the side part with a housing and a piston rod which is pretensioned by a spring in a direction away from the housing.

The invention relates to a damper () for furniture, especially hinges, comprising a housing () in which a piston () is connected to a piston rod () and can be displaced. A fluid flows through at least one flow channel () on or in the piston () during a movement of the piston () inside the housing (). A connecting element () having a seat () for coupling a drive element thereto is provided on the piston rod () on the end section projecting from the housing (). The seat () has a cut-out section () on the face of the of the piston rod () accommodated therein, said cut-out section allowing the direct mechanical contact of a face () of the piston rod () and a drive element accommodated in the seat () so that there is a direct flux of force in the axial direction from the drive element accommodated in the seat towards the piston rod () when pressure is applied.

Damper for furniture

The invention relates to a damper (') for furniture, especially hinges, comprising a housing (&#x2032;) in which a piston (&#x2032;) is connected to a piston rod (&#x2032;) and can be displaced. A fluid flows through at least one flow channel (&#x2032;) on or in the piston (&#x2032;) during a movement of the piston (&#x2032;) inside the housing (&#x2032;), the movement of the piston (&#x2032;) resulting in a different damping power in different directions. The cross-section of the flow channel can be modified in some sections on at least one groove (&#x2032;) by moving a plate (&#x2032;) relative to the piston (&#x2032;). On the at least one groove (&#x2032;), a substantially funnel-shaped outlet (&#x2032;) and/or the groove (&#x2032;) have a section which is arranged at an angle to the radial direction to avoid cavitation.

A drawer can be displaced relative to a basic furniture structure, via a pull-out guide. The drawer has, on the opposite sides, in each case at least one gearwheel which meshes with a rack, secured on the basic furniture structure, and is coupled to a gearwheel on the opposite side. The racks can be extended in length in each case via a pivotable lever, in order to ensure that the drawer is also guided by the gearwheels in the pulled-out position. A pivotable lever can be disengaged from the meshing gearwheel in order for it to be possible to correct skewed positioning of the drawer. This ensures that the drawer is guided by the gearwheels over its entire displacement path.
