An installation piece for supporting a roller in a roller stand of a roller frame. The installation piece includes a main bore for receiving a journal of the roller, an inlet for a lubricant, an outlet for the lubricant, and a pump device for pumping the lubricant leaving the installation piece through the outlet. The pump device has a housing, an inlet channel, and an outlet channel. The inlet channel communicates with the inlet and the outlet channel communicates with the outlet for the flow of the lubricant. The pump device is driven by the flow of the lubricant in the inlet. The housing of the pump device is equipped with a screw pump and a turbine, which is driven by the pressurized inflowing lubricant, in the inlet channel for driving the screw pump.

Installation piece for supporting a roller in a roller stand

The invention relates to a sealing device for installation in a roll arrangement between the roll journals of a roll and chock. The sealing device has an annular main body having sealing rims that extend radially outwards. Furthermore, the sealing device has an annular reinforcement element having a strip-like section which coaxially surrounds the main body on the outer side thereof. In order to ensure the dimensional stability and thus also the function of the sealing device even after the installation thereof in the roll arrangement, that is to say after said sealing device has been pushed onto the frustroconical roll journals, the reinforcement element according to the invention has, in addition to the coaxial strip-like section, at least one flange which is connected thereto and is connected to the sealing rim. Furthermore, the invention relates to said roll arrangement.

Sealing device and roll arrangement

The invention relates to a roll arrangement for use in metallurgical technology, comprising a roll that has a roll barrel and two roll necks, and at least one neck bushing for accommodating at least one of the roll necks in a rotationally fixed manner. A carrier element that functions as a form-locking rotationally fixed connection is arranged between the roll neck and the neck bushing. In order to increase the load-bearing capacity of the roll bearing without increasing the size of or the mounting space for the roll bearing and at the same time ensure easy assembly, the roll neck is mounted in the neck bushing with some radial play such that a circumferential cavity is formed between the neck bushing and the roll neck in the unloaded stated as a result of the radial play. In order to increase the size of the cavity, the roll neck or the inner surface of the neck bushing additionally has a concave contour or profile.

Roll arrangement

The invention relates to a roll arrangement for use in metallurgical technology, comprising a roll that has a roll barrel () and two roll necks (), and at least one neck bushing () for accommodating at least one of the roll necks without a clearance in a rotationally fixed manner. In order to increase the load-bearing capacity of the roll bearing without increasing the size of or the mounting space for the roll arrangement, a circumferential cavity is formed between the neck bushing () and the roll neck () in the unloaded state of the roll arrangement.

The invention relates to an installation part for mounting an upper support roll in a roll stand. The installation part has, on its cambered side, a lubricant receiving space, from which at least one lubricant drain hole () extends, in the lower region of the installation part, in the direction of the drain side of the installation part. The profile of the bore in the unstressed bearing support body is configured, at least approximately, according to the negated pre-calculated profile of the bore under a load.

A bearing for a rolling mill roll that has a roll neck, the bearing including a neck sleeve fitted onto the roll neck, a chock, a bearing bush supported in the chock, and a load-bearing lubricating film provided between the neck sleeve and the bearing bush. The roll neck has a step at a transition to an undercut region that defines part of a keyway groove in an axial end face of the roll neck, a remaining part of the keyway groove being formed in an axial end of the neck sleeve. A feather key is provided in the keyway groove. The feather key and the keyway groove are arranged adjacent to, without passing through, a R&#xf6;tscher line extending between the step of the roll neck and an outer axial edge of the bearing bush. The feather key has a radial extension that is greater than an axial extension.

The invention relates to a device for installing and removing a bearing assembly () which consists of a chock in which a trunnion hearing is arranged on a supporting roller stud () of a rolling stand. The aim of said invention is to replace said assembly by means of an operationally reliable device without carrying out modifications or large-scale modifications of the supporting roller stud (), in particular to obtain reproducible mounting forces in order to ensure best long-term wear-less service possible, best possible rotation and easily controlled stripping forces for reliable operation of the rolling stand. The invention also relates to a nut () fixed to the roller stud () prestressed against the bearing assembly (). According to said invention, a stripping device () can be temporarily coupled to the bearing assembly (), the hydraulic cylinder () thereof resting against the roller stud ().

Device for installing and removing a roller supporting a bearing assembly

The invention relates to a device () for sealing the ball side of a bearing of a roller journal (), comprising a journal bushing () which is drawn to the roller journal (), said journal bushing being associated with a bearing ring (), a bearing bushing () which is mounted in an insertion piece (), also comprising radial shaft seals which are associated with the insertion piece via a holder () and which are provided with radial lips () which co-operate with the bearing ring () and a sealing arrangement () which is arranged upstream from the radial shaft seals so that the roller () can roll. The aim of the invention is to improve said device in such a way that it can be produced and operated economically such that it consists of only a small number of parts and has an improved sealing effect. According to the invention, the holder (), the radial lips (), and a sealing lip (') of the sealing arrangement () form one unit which is sealingly connected in a detachable manner to the insertion piece ().

Device for sealing the ball side of a bearing of a roller stud

Disclosed is a sealing device () for a rotatably mounted roll (). Said sealing device () comprises at least one annular body which sits on a roll neck (), encompasses said roll neck (), and is provided with at least one outward-extending lip () that rests in a sealing manner against a stationary part () during rotation of the roll.
