A pulse tool, in particular a pulse nutsetter, has a drive unit and a pulse unit driven by it. The pulse unit has at least one rotor with at least two vanes, a hydraulic cylinder surrounding it and a drive spindle protruding at one end out of the hydraulic cylinder through a front plate. The front plate is arranged between the rotor and a front cover, the cover being formed with a hydraulic fluid filling device. In order to improve a pulse tool of this nature, in that deviations from the desired pulse frequencies can be compensated in a simple manner and in particular already during the assembly of the pulse tool, the front plate has at least one bypass opening connecting the high-pressure and low-pressure chambers which are separated by the vanes. The pulse tool may also include an appropriate front plate.

The invention relates to a tool (), in particular an impact wrench, with a pulse unit () having a hydraulic impact mechanism () and a drive unit (). The working volume () can be connected within the hydraulic impact mechanism () to an additional volume () formed outside of the mechanism. The tool according to the invention is characterised in that at least the compensating volume () can be varied independently of the pressure.

Tool

A pulse tool, in particular a pulse nutsetter, has at least one pneumatic drive unit with a drive rotor and a pulse unit driven by the drive unit, wherein a delay-dependent inertial cut-off device is assigned to the drive unit for the interruption of the air feed on acquiring a cut-off pules. A pulse tool of this nature is improved to the effect that it has or facilitates a compact design, a low weight and simultaneously, a fast cut-off by the inertial cut-off device. This is achieved by the inertial cut-off device having at least one cut-off piston for changing the air feed between the open and closed positions and which can be moved relative to the drive rotor and an, essentially annular, inertial body which can turn with the drive rotor. Due to the inertial body, on acquiring the cut-off pulse at least one drive body, essentially radially adjustable relative to the drive rotor, can be deflected due to an internal contour. The drive body is movably linked to a release device provided for the cut-off piston and which can be moved between a release position and a retaining position. The release device can be moved by the drive body into the release position for the release of the cut-off piston for movement into its closed position.

Pulse tool

An air motor, especially for a screwer, comprises an air rotor which is rotatably supported in a motor cylinder and comprises a plurality of longitudinal slits extending in the longitudinal direction of the rotor for radially guiding lamellae, the air rotor and motor cylinder having formed thereinbetween chambers which can be brought into communication with an air inlet and/or an air outlet. To achieve a high efficiency of the motor together with a more uniform accelerating power, a reduced sound level and less wear while the exhaust air throttling measures are reduced at the same time, the motor cylinder comprises an inner chamber of an essentially triangular cross-section, one chamber each being formed between air rotor and a triangle tip.

A tool, in particular a power screw driver, comprises an output shaft which is rotatably mounted in a housing and is driven by a motor. The output shaft extends substantially coaxially to a longitudinal axis of the housing. In order to improve a tool of the type described in such a manner that the tool can be held comfortably, in controlled manner and with little force, a grip sleeve which is rotatable relative to the housing is fitted over the housing, and at least one damping device that counteracts a pulse-like rotation of the grip sleeve relative to the housing is disposed between the housing and the grip sleeve.

A pulse tool, especially a nutsetter, comprises a pulse unit including a hydraulic cylinder driven by a motor, and a driven shaft supported in the hydraulic cylinder. Two seal rollers are supported in radial grooves of the driven shaft. The rollers are power-operated towards the inner wall of the cylinder. The seal rollers are simultaneously in contact only in a single rotary position of the cylinder with seal strips that project relative to the inner wall of the cylinder so as to produce an angular momentum. To simplify the structure of the pulse tool and to extend the period of use at the same time, the radial groove which receives the seal roller serving as a compensating roller comprises a lift delaying device for the limited centrifugal movement of the compensating roller.

A hydraulic impulse screwdriver includes a control circuit, a drive shaft, a compressed-air motor having a motor shaft, a compressed air inlet, and an outlet, a striker having a pressurizing cylinder chamber, the striker connected to the outlet of the compressed-air motor for impulse-like driving of the drive shaft, a shut-off device for torque-dependent interruption of the compressed-air inlet to the compressed-air motor, the shutoff device including a servoelement seated in the motor shaft of the compressed-air motor and forming a pressure-carrying link between the pressurizing cylinder chamber of the striker and the shut-off device, by which a torque-related signal is fed to the control circuit, which control circuit interrupts the compressed-air inlet to the compressed-air motor when a specified torque limit value is reached, a bending bar in the shut-off device that is arranged in cooperation with the servoelement, the bending bar being provided with a transducer to determine a bending moment dependent on an impulse pressure in the striker pressurizing cylinder chamber, and an electronic evaluation unit for comparing the bending moment with the specified torque limit value so that the shut-off device is operated when the specified torque limit value is reached.

A hydro-impulse screwing device comprises a rotary drive motor, a power source for the motor, a drive shaft, a pulsating hydraulic drive connecting the motor to the shaft and a power cut-off for the motor. The load at which the power cut-off functions is adjustable. The tool has a borehole extending through the length of the shaft, a conduit for conducting hydraulic fluid from the drive to the borehole, a valve in the borehole movable from a closed position to an open position in response to hydraulic pressure corresponding to a predetermined load to allow hydraulic pressure from the drive to actuate the power cut-off, a biassing element in the borehole for biassing the valve toward a closed position against the hydraulic pressure, wherein the force of the biassing element is adjusted at the end of the drive shaft to change the load at which the power cut-off operates.

Hydro-impulse screwing device

This invention relates to a rotary impulse screwing device which generates only one pulse per rotation of the output shaft. Two main and two additional lamellas are adjustably positioned in the output shaft. The two main lamellas seal at a minimum of two times per rotation of the output shaft. The two additional lamellas are adjusted independently via separate recess tracks to ensure that each additional lamella seals at only one point per rotation of the output shaft. The independently articulated additional lamellas further ensure that the load on the output shaft bearing is symmetrical on non-impulse points of rotation.

In reversible compressed air rotary motors for compressed air tools, particularly for wrenches, it is known to discharge the waste air radially from the casing of the motor, which results in a considerable nuisance, in particular as regards noise. Furthermore, due to the close positioning of the compressed air inlet and air outlet, poor efficiency is achieved. To avoid those drawbacks in a rotary sliding vane motor having an elliptical working chamber, the rotor end over on the inlet side is rotatably mounted, and air outlet means is arranged axially and lies in both the clockwise as well as in the antic-clockwise direction or rotation of the rotor relative to the major semi-axis of the elliptical working chamber. Thus by rotating the end cover to one or other of its limit positions, the outlet means communicate with different pairs of passageways.
