The invention relates to an adaptation system (), comprising a mouthpiece (), configured to be positioned in a mouth of a person, and an external sensoring device (). The external sensoring device () is configured to be positioned at the person, wherein the external sensoring device () comprises at least one sensor () configured to sense at least one measurable quantity when the mouthpiece () is positioned in the person's mouth and the external sensoring device () is positioned at the person. Further, the adaptation system () comprises an analysis device () configured to determine a compliance of the adaptation system and/or to determine an orientation of an upper jaw () and a lower jaw () to each other derived from the at least one sensed measurable quantity.

Adaptation system for oral appliance

An occlusal splint arrangement having a maxillary miniplast splint and a mandibular miniplast splint, and including a positioning means defining the position of the mandibular miniplast splint with respect to the maxillary miniplast splint in the x-direction. The positioning means is designed like a fixing band transmitting tensile forces, the two ends of the fixing band being fixed to two fastening elements, and the fastening elements being disposed in the left and the right molar region of the mandibular miniplast splint, and a middle section of the fixing band being guided at a guide means, and the guide means being disposed in the incisor region of the maxillary miniplast splint.

Occlusal splint arrangement with a fixing band

An occlusal splint arrangement () for sleep apnoea therapy includes a maxillary miniplast splint () that can be arranged on the maxillary row of teeth and a mandibular miniplast splint () that can be arranged on the mandibular row of teeth. The miniplast splints () each have positioning device () that can define the relative position of the miniplast splints () towards each other in the longitudinal direction (X). For simple adjustment of the position, exchangeable positioning devices () that are mounted on centring pins () are used on one of the two miniplast splints (). A secure attachment of the respective exchangeable positioning devices () on the centring pin () is realised by a latching connection.

Occlusal splint arrangement

An occlusal splint arrangement, in particular for sleep apnea therapy includes a maxillary miniplast splint that can be arranged on the maxillary row of teeth and a mandibular miniplast splint that can be arranged on the mandibular row of teeth. The maxillary miniplast splint can be brought to bear against the mandibular miniplast splint. The arrangement includes at least one maxillary positioning guide and at least one mandibular positioning guide, wherein the relative position of the miniplast splints toward each other can be defined in the longitudinal direction and/or in the transverse direction by a form fit between the maxillary and the mandibular positioning guides. The maxillary and/or mandibular miniplast splint include at least one mounting device, and at least two different positioning guides can be secured as mutual replacements on the same mounting device, whereby at least two different relative positions can be defined between the miniplast splints.
