A diagonal strut device () for reinforcing arrangement on an undercarriage of a motor vehicle. A plurality of struts () made from a fiber-reinforced plastic composite material extend away from a central joint element (). Each strut () can be connected to the undercarriage via this from the end facing away from the central joint element (). For this, a connecting joint element () is arranged on the end of each strut () facing away from the central joint element (), wherein the central joint element () and the connecting joint elements () are formed from a light metal material. The central joint element () and the connecting joint elements () are then connected to the struts () by an at least positive connection. The central joint element () and the connecting joint elements () are each formed from several individual elements joined together.

A motor vehicle column includes an inner shell and an outer shell made from a metal, which are connected to each other in respective flange regions and which enclose a hollow space between them. In the hollow space a reinforcement element having a basic body made from a fiber composite plastic is arranged to strengthen the body component. The reinforcement element includes a metallic insert, which connects the reinforcement element to the inner and/or outer shell.

Body component

A diagonal strut device () for reinforcing arrangement on an undercarriage of a motor vehicle. The diagonal strut device () has a plurality of struts () made from a fibet-reinforced plastic composite material, which extend away from a central joint element (). Each strut () can be connected to the undercarriage via it's end facing away from the central joint element (). For this, a connecting joint element () is arranged on the end of each strut () facing away from the central joint element (). The central joint element () and the connecting joint elements () are formed from a light metal material. The central joint element () and the connecting joint elements () are then connected to the struts () by an at least firmly bonded cast joint. Further, a method for the production of a diagonal strut device (), as well as a motor vehicle undercarriage, which uses the diagonal strut device () for reinforcement.

A method for producing a body-in-white of a passenger car is provided. A support structure assigned to the body-in-white of the motor vehicle and which includes at least one support part is produced. The support part of the support structure is, depending on a variant of the motor vehicle, at least in some regions provided with at least one reinforcing part.

A door pillar for a supporting frame structure of a vehicle body has an upper section which extends from a vehicle roof as far as a vehicle side edge, and a lower section which extends from the vehicle side edge in the direction of a vehicle floor. In order to improve the door pillar with regard to loading and weight, it has a pillar body which extends at least in the upper section and is made of iron or iron alloy, and a pillar base which is connected fixedly thereto, extends at least in the lower section, and is made of light metal or light metal alloy.

A process for producing a component with an inner fabric includes layering at least two layers of fabric one on top of the other. A layer of plastic in powder form or sheet form is introduced between respective pairs of neighboring layers of fabric. The plastic has a melting point corresponding to at most the melting point and/or the decomposing temperature of the fabric layers. The fabric layers and plastic layer are heated and pressed at a pressure greater than atmospheric pressure, during which the plastic layer is at least partially melted. After reaching the desired final form, the partially-melted plastic is cooled, thereby bonding the fabric layers to one another. The cooled plastic is arranged between the layers of fabric and, in particular, at least partially between the fibers of the fabric layers.

A roof frame arrangement of a motor vehicle has a front, a rear and two lateral roof frames, and a supporting device for a motor vehicle tailgate. The supporting device includes a tailgate hinge and at least one gas-filled compression spring. At least the lateral roof frame contains an inner shell and an outer shell connected to the latter. A hollow space is formed between the inner shell and outer shell. In order to provide a roof frame arrangement having increased stiffness, which can be produced in a simple and space-saving manner and with as few manufacturing tolerances as possible and in which a relatively great outlay on leakproofness is not required, it is proposed to form a rear end region of the lateral roof frame as a single-piece, circumferentially closed hollow profile which encloses the hollow space there and forms a receiving housing in which at least one of the hinge and the gas-filled compression spring is fitted.

A rear roof frame of a motor vehicle has a tailgate which is fastened to the roof frame and includes an upper shell and a lower shell which is fitted to the latter. For the design of a rear roof frame, which, in spite of the shell-type construction, provides, in a simple manner and lightweight construction, sufficient torsional and flexural stiffness in order to withstand high mechanical stresses, it is proposed to arrange within the shell structure a hollow profile which leads in each case from the transition region to the lateral roof frame and parallel to the longitudinal extent of the structure, and emerges, at least at the end facing away from the lateral roof frame, in a knee which kinks in the front-end direction of the vehicle. The end of the rear roof frame forms a tubular hollow profile of the lateral roof frame, which is connected to the hollow profile of the rear roof frame.

A container that can be locked and fastened to a vehicle with lockable fastening devices in a detachable manner, made of material impenetrable toward gaining unauthorized access to the contents, is designed in such a way that it can be carried as a bag in the detached state and stored on the vehicle side in the empty state in a space-saving and aesthetically appealing manner. For this purpose, the container is made of a collapsible material and designed like a bag.

A flexible planar structure unit is provided as load-space securing element, the unit being arranged extended in a protective position in the vicinity of the moveable rear-section arrangement in such a way that loads which are located in the load space, or at least a person who is located on a seat arrangement facing counter to the direction of travel in the load space is protected with points of attachment to the vehicle bodywork being provided for securing the planar structure unit in the extended protective position.

A detachable closure includes separable burr-type elements which, at surfaces to be joined, have interlocking elements which mutually interlock during joining of the burr-type elements and hold the burr-type elements together. The interlocking elements are made of a material which carries out a deformation under the influence of heat, electromagnetic radiation, and/or a magnetic field.

A vehicle having a table board is provided. The table board is moveable between an out-of-use position, in which the table board is accommodated in the vehicle, and a position of use, in which the table board projects longitudinally from the vehicle. At least one seat is mounted in such a way on the table board, through a folding linkage, such that in the position of use of the table board, the seat can be pivoted between a space-saving out-of-use position and a position of use suitable for sitting at the table board.

The invention concerns a method of producing a hollow profile with flange. To produce a hollow profile with flange in a simple way and to the requirements of the process, on which profile great enlargements and/or dimensional changes in cross section have to be performed with respect to an initial form to achieve the desired final form, it is proposed first of all to roll-form an initial hollow profile with flange from a sheet bar, which flange is formed by ends of the sheet bar lying parallel against each other, the initial hollow profile having a smaller cross-sectional area and a longer flange than the final form of the hollow profile. After that, the initial hollow profile is shaped into the final form of the hollow profile by exerting a fluidic internal high pressure.
